  • Check out the Behind The Scene from my timelapse video WINTER. It's a little bit different from what I do usually but it was really fun to shoot :) And, to make this BTS. Please let me know in the comments how you like that, it's my first making of video ever :)

    Tom when you used the drone, did you shoot video or still images? Did you have to shoot them manually? I think the P4P and up can shoot at :2 intervals. I have a P3P and I can't go down to a :2 interval unless I manually press the shutter button on the RC every 1-2 seconds while flying.

      Yes, the min interval time is a problem. I have tried it with stills for a few times but it was a failure every time so I keep shooting it as a video, especially for scenerios where I can't repeat the shot easily

    hi there and great channel! planning to get the mozza air cross ghimbal too. Is it possible to do a tracking hyperlapse with it ?

    • @BeyondTheTime
      @BeyondTheTime  6 років тому +1

      You mean something like the classic hyperlapse with a tripod? It's possible, kind of. You can do it handheld, I tried it once, it wasn't bad, but also it wasn't good. Depend on the location it is possible. However how I do it is to mount the gimbal on a tripod and make a hyperlapse just like I always do, but aim the fix point with the gimbal joystick set to the lowest speed. This description applies to all gimbals, not just Moza ;)

    The zoom out effect with the drone at 3:48 - how is it done ? Just added motion blur and speed ramp ?

    • @BeyondTheTime

      There a slight vertigo effect added in post, the big zoom out is done physically with a drone - I just flew backwards and then morph it to the static timelapse from a tripod

      You should really start doing tutorials for all this. Very unique and interesting effects and ideas. People are loving it (look at the likes / dislikes ratio on all your videos :P )
      and once you build up a bigger audience, start selling and monetizing stuff..

      I'm trying to make tutorial from time to time. For sure there are more in form of articles on my blog than here on youtube. But I'm trying to make more video tutorials now :) Overall it wasn't easy for me to start talking in English to camera, but I'm getting better :)
