The Star Wars toy section at my local Walmart just sits there and collects dust. Even the Legos don’t seem to be moving. It’s incredible how far this franchise has fallen.
I was a huge star wars toy collector. I had to get it all and then the “Last Jedi” stuff came out and i passed on everything. In fact i quit collecting star wars all together. Sold it all and never looked back. Still happy with my choice.
@@that-one-dude23 I'd say he's a smart toy collector. Knowing when to bow out unlike some plastic addicts that hurl that money at whatever plastic pieces of crap come thier way. A fool and his money y'know.

Not just that.....I imagine that they'd turn on their creators at Disney, LucasFilm and Hasbro for having the idiocy to create them......before ending themselves once all was said and done.......
Hasbro could literally just pump out new Black Series ARC Troopers, and the Airborne Trooper, which they have the molds for both. They'd print $, but Hasbro is determined to create peg warmers.
My guess is that in decades to come these toys will be so rare -coming from the Shit Age of Star Wars - that they will become valuable collectors items.
Every 5 years companies have to bring out products related to their marks or someone could make knock offs and claim in court that they thought the license had lapsed. That's why you see brown costume wolverine and black costume spiderman every five years
Even if you DID want those toys, the production values were/are horrible. You might if you closed one eye and squinted think they looked like a character from the movies. And the paint jobs on the black series clearly had no quality control, so much so they started coming with a viewing window.
I like that BBTS carries the exclusive toys from other retailers once those retailers have given up on them. Sometimes I can't get Walmart's or Amazon's exclusives when they come out. Also, we don't have Ollies where I live (California.)
From what I understand, Amazon is having a fire sale of everything that is Star Wars related Legos everything and you know it’s even funnier. It’s probably about 1015 years ago if they would’ve had stuff like this, people would’ve been clamoring through the roof to grab it because that’s when Star Wars was still alive and viable and you could literally print money with it, but you know the sad truth is this if Amazon is having a fire sale and they’re having a tough time getting rid of stuff how hard do you think it’s going to be for Hasbro to unload themselves of all of this stuff we may be looking at something we’ve not seen since the early 80s with the whole ET and the 2600 fiasco remember remember when they were landfills cartridges for the Atari 2600 fiasco
Annndd they'll end up on clearance just like the last round for those stores that actually stock them. My local target might get 5 new ones a week. Miss the days when you have 20-30 a week.
We’ve reached the day when there is something worse than the Atari ET game. One day there will stories of a landfill full of Star Wars toys and the only thing solid about it is the dense layer of plastic that was produced.
Actually Disney may be on to something instead of selling hundreds of millions of Disney Star Wars toys at a dollar each what if they sell hundreds of toys a 1 million dollars each? Come on anyone step on up with your million for your last jedi toy! Anyone???
Like, why don't they focus on making action figures of legends characters? Make figures that fans actually want instead of trying to force unsuccessful concepts down their throats. No one is buying anything from the Disney sequel trilogy or their crappy TV shows. As a collector I can tell you I own most of my favorites from the movies, games, and comics I love and adore. Like I just got Mara Jade with a blaster in one hand and a purple saber on the other. I love it, especially accompanied with Luke Skywalker. They need to do more stuff like that. Give us characters we actually want to go out and buy because following Disney's sh#% is not a good plan and it ain't working. Not this continuous hogwash they keep churning out that no true fan would ever buy with actual money that they work hard to obtain. No thank you. 😫🤦
As a huge Star Wars figure fan, this isn’t hasbro pumping out toys for a failed movie. I keep up with all the latest reveals and releases and haven’t heard of this before. Sadly I think this is just BBTS trying and failing to sell their stock they’ve had since 2017. You gotta feel for these toy retailers tho, they all have toys no one wants that just sit and collect dust in the back corner of their warehouses.
So that's one $639 million dollar toilet .... and then a neverending supply of rubbish character toys to FLUSH into it ! Give Mickeys Management a round of applause as the idyits of the century ! I can't sell any of my cr@p Sequel Trilogy figures for pennies, can't give them away.

These sets aren't new. They're old stock. The Celebrate the Saga multipacks have been around for several years now. BBTS sometimes get old stock.
The legos would move if they 1. Had actually good sets 2. Weren’t overpriced
Lego has fallen off with Star Wars. Probably stems from the movie/tv film problem.
