The usual highlight + high transparency glass material part method is easier to do and reflects parts and buildings, but sometimes can be a little bit weird and bugged out.
Actually this does use some resources so maybe just make a simple LOD system where the puddles aren't visible from afar and add settings to disable/enable them.
I have no glasses in but I don’t think it’ that bad…ok maybe like yeah, I thought the thumbnail was something flooden for a sec. But Impressive really like it! Clouds look like and the atmosphere so.
It worked but i came across an issue: it doesn't load (unless i play the game) and even then it doesn't load for a while and after a while it disappears
i need help if possible - they only appear at 9 graphics minimum and if u change app (like go to chrome) the puddles sometimes just disappear. Can someone help?

This is actually rly good, nice tutorial (might use this in my game if it doesn't use too much ressources)
Its just a MeshPart whit a texture, so it not use too mouch ressources.

Hey, great tut! Although one question: Does it only reflect skybox or it reflects the whole workspace itself?(like the WorldModel mirrors)
Only skybox, In certain lighting, especially those with pbr objects, it can reflect a little.
@@tordev5 Which is..sad, but still a pretty realistic puddle nonetheless
typically it only reflects the skybox, however, if it's in an interior, it will reflect the interior with a basic cubemap
i have a video showing how to reflect workspace
@@blaux oh hey i actually watched yours too, its near perfect
subbed

6 Months, Lol!
This tutorial is so recent 😮, but how i add the colormap? There's no option import colormap to SurfaceAppearence
This tutorial is not rocket science my friend, it is easy, just follow the tutorial and pay attention, it is too easy.
@@tordev5 ikr 😊 I was stuck because my studio was somehow years without update
@@tordev5 It worked really fine!
@@saturdayprod WoW, several years without updating, Its good that you were able to fix it 👍
@@tordev5 yes. I'm trying to remake a know ps2 game on Roblox Studio, but it's my second time trying to use it lol
Skybox id?
3 music video 💀
?
can you give me the link to the skybox?
sure, here is it: create.roblox.com/store/asset/697839091/HD-sky-road?keyword=road+sky&pageNumber=1&pagePosition=18
DOESNT WORK :C
For u it doesn’t, it does for everyone else
No funciono, hice todo pero no va 👎
Pues lo habras hecho mal jaja
no te puedes llamar desarrollador si no puedes seguir un simple tutorial
@@tordev5he probably thought it would have the same reflections as games outside of Roblox, where the game has reflections depending on the landscape
