I'm still just halfway through the video but I just have to comment right now. That third tribe, he one right after the xylophone performance, put a big lump in my throat at the part where they depicted the local tribe being introduced to Christianity, which is the origin of the creation of this festival and how it changed the majority of the Filipino people since that happened in 1521. And that just made me realize that next year will be the 500th anniversary of when the Spaniards came to the Philippines and changed us as a people.
The performance is awesome & amazing! The effort put into it just amazing! Kudos to the organizers and the dancers who pariticipated in this years Dinagyang ! Be safe going back to Manila and rest well Nelly!
