It seems that only JWs believe this position. I would like to find a Christian church that accepts this truth... yes it is the truth.

@@Koreakorea77777 Well Nick, people didn't understand Jesus either when he told them that he was the bread of life. They deserted him and were more "lost" for doing so. I didn't understand the doctrine of the trinity either for quite some time, but I perservered with my own studies and now I realize that it fits perfectly with what scripture teaches us. I cannot say the same for unitarianism. It breaks scripture.

Yes, Jesus is the Son of God, but not just a SON, but the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of the ONE TRUE GOD, who had not human Father, as GOD is His Father.
The Islamic religion deny the true Christ who died and was raised to life by GOD, 1 John 2:22,

On Genesis God hovered over the face of the deep just like Jesus walked on the sea. God spoke( his word) all things into existence and Jesus is the Word. All things were created by him and for him like the bible says. God created the oceans and so Jesus comanded the raging sea by saying PEACE BE STILL and the sea obeyed it's creator.
Jesus, the Son of God, does not have a metaphorical sonship. He is really the only begotten Son of God, and that is not a diminished position to the Father. Philipper 2: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. John 10: 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
These are not two Gods, because Jesus said in John 10: 30: „I and my Father are one.“
If it comes to the question of worship: Of course Jesus is worthy of it.

By the way there is no common ground between Christianity and Islam, because a Muslim does not comprehend that God has a Son.

As we hear The Gospel we can SEE The Mercy, Forgiveness, Faithfulness, Grace, Kindness, Patience and Love of God.
As we SEE The Spirit of God we are given a New Spirit. As we hear about the Goodness of God and ours eyes are open to see Him, Faith in Him begins to come alive in us, and Love for Him begins to come alive in us.
This is the meaning of Being Born again or Being Born of The Spirit of God.

The word "God" and "Allah" is just a common term for King and sometimes for "Lord". In the old testament, Jesus is the Prince ( the Son of God). He was there with his Father in the beginning before all creation. However, Jesus was sacrificed by the King to "reciprocate" Abraham's loyalty in wanting to sacrifice his most loved son. God could definitely reward him more. God sent his only son to save the world! But we must believe in them (Father and Son) to be saved by their grace! After resurrection, Jesus is crowned as the new King (God) to rule over Heaven and Earth. But his father is still greater than Jesus. Upon his resurrection, Jesus had announced to his disciples to reveal to the world of his coronation as the new God (King) as his father the King had transferred all his power and everything to him. Jesus is God (King) now!

Let's start with this. YOU DON'T SEE CLEARLY according to the Apostle Paul who JESUS chose to preach to the gentiles!
According to the Apostle Paul, no one here on Earth sees clearly. 1 Corinthians 13:12.
In the Revelation of the Bible, Jesus sends His 'angel' to His Prophet John, FROM HEAVEN SEEING CLEARLY. Revelation 22:16, 1 Corinthians 13:12.
In Rev. 22:6-9, that 'angel' which actually translates as messenger from the original Koine Greek of the Revelation, tells us that He is one of God's Holy Prophets and calls Jesus LORD GOD of the HOLY PROPHETS!
Seems logical to me that a Prophet sent from heaven to the Prophet John, BY JESUS, telling us that Jesus is LORD GOD of the HOLY PROPHETS, SHOULD BE TRUSTED!
And if you should decide to not believe what the Prophet JESUS SENT FROM HEAVEN SENT FROM HEAVEN, SEEING CLEARLY, HAS TO SAY, what happens to you?
You WILL LOSE YOUR ETERNAL LIFE, for subtracting from the Revelation, and GOD WILL REMOVE YOUR NAME FROM HIS BOOK OF LIFE. Rev. 22:19.

@@pthiannun07 Jesus is referring to the works his Father is doing through him. He mentions this first to the Jews who wanted to stone him in Chapter 10 of John, 10:37-38. It's by evidence of the works that we know the Father is in him, that is how to see his Father: healing of the sick/crippled/deaf/blind etc, raising of the dead, multiplying of bread, walking on water, stopping storms and so forth. Seeing that power at work is to see his Father.
"If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” - Jesus, John 10:37-38
He again mentions this to Philip, in the verse you reference. Philip misunderstands and says "show us the Father", but Jesus responds to him saying John 14:10-11, basically the same thing he told the Jews who wanted to stone him:
"Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the work, believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake." - Jesus, John 14:10-11
This is important to understand, because right after saying this to Philip, Jesus defines what a "believer" is: that they will do the same works if not greater than he, because he is going to the Father, John 14:12-13

So those who believe in Jesus will have the power of his Father within them, doing similar if not greater works - and if we keep his command and ask in his name(his name meaning to save from sins) we will then obtain the spirit of truth, which is required to worship his Father at all, indicated in John 4:23-24.

And I will pray to the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the SPIRIT OF TRUTH(required to worship God, John 4:23-24); whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not(works, they do not see his Father's power), neither knows him: But you know him; for he dwells in you, and shall be in you" - Jesus, John 14:14-17
And to confirm that Jesus is not referring to himself as God when he says if you've seen him, you've seen the Father, Jesus said the following about NOT seeing God his Father:
"And the Father himself, which has sent me, has born witness of me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape." - Jesus, John 5:37
"Not that any man has seen the Father, save he which is of God(John 8:38), he has seen the Father." - Jesus, John 6:46
(John 8:38 "I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and you do that which you have seen with your father." - Jesus, John 8:38)

Knowing all of these things brings the true meaning to how the holy spirit/comforter functions, but also brings full clarity to John 10:30 where Jesus said him and his Father (two) are one (unity of two), or greek word "heis" which may indicate a unity of two.
Jesus in John 10:30 foreshadows the Father doing the works within him. The Jews picked up stones to throw at him when he said they were one because they misunderstood thinking he was trying to make himself God(a mistake people commit to this day, thinking he is God or trying to make himself God), but Jesus instead references Psalm 82:6 and corrects them, reiterating soon after "I am God's son" to them, in John 10:36, which of course flows into John 10:37-38 where he refers to the works as evidence of his Father even if they for some reason do not believe him, the son.

When the American Standard Version was produced in 1811 one thing that stood out was the restoration of the name Jehovah in 6828 places in the Old Testament. This Bible received a lot of criticism for doing this. So how did the committee address this matter? I understand that a 12 Century priest produced the crude name "Jehovah" by conflating the consonances from the Hebrew Yud Hay Fav Hay with the vowels from the word "Adonai" (Ah Doh Nah) which means "Lord"! Rabbi Theodore Falcon of Seattle brought this fact to light. Does God not say "I will share my glory with no one" yet Jesus shares the Glory of God." Did God not say you should have no other gods before me and that we shall only worship the one True God? Well, the Bible teaches us that only the father most high knows when the last day shall be. It says not Jesus nor the angels will know when that day shall be. So I can't see where Jesus is God. Just like I can't see that when you die you go to heaven or hell. Especially when the Bible teaches that none of that happens until your resurrected. So.... If the Trinity were true for all of you Trinity believers out there... Then Jesus, the father most high and the holy Spirit would all know when the last day shall be for mankind. But yet the Bible tells us only one knows, and that's the father most high. The Bible tells us that Jesus is our King, not God, he is the son of the father. For instance nobody was there when Jesus prayed to the Father in the garden , they were all asleep but we believed the made up grieving prayer about not taking this cup. Jesus never said that. Does this fellow not realize that all Trinitarians believe the Jesus is God’s Son? They all believe that Jesus is God’s only begotten Son. So why do these guys keep on trying to prove that Jesus is God’s Son … as if Trinitarians did not already believe that? Jesus IS God. Here's the proof where Jesus actually calls himself Lord and God. Check out Luke chapter 4 verse 12. Satan was tempting Jesus, not God the Father in heaven. Again look at Jesus's reply to Satan. This is very clear and profound! Jesus is the Son of God.
The Son that was promised by prophecy through the prophet Isaiah.
Isaiah said, that the Son would be called the Everlasting Father, Mighty God.
Reading is fundamental. Jesus and the Father are one.
Jesus is Jehovah Exodus 6 :3. Clearly that is the revelation of who Jesus is. That is how he appeared to Moses.
But he appeared to Abram as Almighty God.
Everybody ought to know who Jesus is.
The Bible has a timeline.
In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus is the Word. Jesus is part human, that's why he's able to die on the cross.
When Jesus was walking on the Earth, Jesus is the Son of God. When Jesus goes up, THEY become one.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1 John 5:7)
Notice it says 'the Word', NOT the Son. In heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost are one; but what about on Earth? The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us ON EARTH.
Jesus is LORD. Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I Am." He's just saying he was around before Abraham. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
In the Book of Revelation, Jesus sounds all-powerful, but when Jesus (the Son of God) was walking on the Earth, he sounds like a servant. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
Explain then how does a spirit have a body! You say three persons, Scripture says no man has seen God because God is a Spirit! No Body! So then cannot be a person. Scripture also says God was in Christ ( the son of man ) reconciling the World until himself giving himself therefore a Body. Hear Oh Israel the Lord our is one Lord. Apostle Thomas proclaim to Jesus himself “ My Lord and my God “ and Jesus did not correct him and should have according to what you teach. Scripture also tells us “ The Lord he is God”, it also tells us there is “ One Lord, One Faith, and one Bsptism, ….” Jesus said to Apostle Phillip “ when you have seen me you have seen the Father.
The issue with other religions is not the truth of Jesus, but the worshipping of Jesus Christians is requesting other religions to do, to worship Jesus, that is the problem. Jesus does not deserve to be worshipped, but Almighty GOD (that is not Jesus).
Your knowledge is incomplete. Read Isaiah 40:1-12 and understand that the Son is the Image of God. God and His Image are one and the same and yet another of the same.

Thomas the apostle called him my Lord and my God. He did not refute it but accepted it.he will be happy if you call him God and Lord .pray and start reading Bible with open mind. U can't accept some verses and reject others.
There's a reason we can say Jesus is God based on OT examples but it never meant Father God.
But the divine one who has God's name in him and is God's messenger. Can be called God

The short form of the Father’s name is Yah, as found in the Strong’s Hebrew/ Greek/ English dictionary # 3050.
We find the first three letters of the four letter name in names like YeshaYahu/ Isaiah and YermeYahu/ Jeremiah. Yahu, pronounced as Ya’ hoo.

In the O.T they did worship God the Father. Jesus Christ was with the Father B4, at creation and until His birth. In the N.T Jesus Christ died on the cross. Rise from the dead. Sitting at right hand of God in Heaven. In order to be saved you have except repent & Jesus as your Lord Savior. Be born again and be filled with the Holy Ghost. Having One God meant equal in power. You see all thru the Bible the three personally working in the Bible. Each one have theirs role. If except each Godhead you want have salvation.

Get with it joe Gen 2:4 He is clearly identified as the LORD God of this Earth and from Gen 1:3 - 31 it is the LORD God being called God but better said is that the Father is the one and only Eternal God Without Beginning. Creator of All Things even His sons of which He chose one to become His exact image in every way and made Him LORD God of this Earth and later to become the only Begotten Son of the Father and Holy Ghost. Heb 1:1-5; Mat 1:18 to fulfill scripture as only he can in human form can. Sin came from the first Adam and eternal life came from the second Adam.
