He seemed so sad in this interview. He talks about writing songs about acute lonliness, but also mentions how much he hates everybody. I know what it's like to be lonely but i can tell you hating everybody is going to make that a lot worse. This was a long time ago though so maybe things are better for him now

Nobody had ever heard of the Misfits (other than people like me and you) until Metallica covered them, all their records were out of print. I get what you're saying, but Glenn spent 10 years bouncing around in a van, living in his mom's basement, making no money and playing for one or two hundred people and finally got snatched up by Rick Rubin. He was a different person by then, just like you and me and anybody else. Would you be happy if he was like Robert Smith from the Cure and still had the same haircut? Dude looks like a grandma from Boca Raton.
