Hello Peter...please can you tell me ho is the best combination to clay a car with the less maring...(towel,block,)..clay lube ..
technic..can I clay with iron remover....
Please if you can give me some answers because I here ...A LOT OF THINKS AND THEY CONFUSE ME

Basicaly to avoid/minimise marring you need to do the process as best as you can, remove any loose dirt from the car : rinse > prewash foam > rinse > contact wash > dry > ( if solvent tar remover) tar removal ( I use product Vasco Prewash , its contactless tar remover, so I use it in the very first stage, u can check my channel there are vid's with it) > rinse > Fallout removal > rinse > then clay bar. The trick with the clabar is that it needs to be soft, so use soft or medium claybar ( for soft paint soft clay bar is best) deep it warm water so warm water will make it softer : ideal for the job. Use good and plenty lubrication ( even good quality shampoo mixed with water) , don''t apply any pressure on the claybar but glide it and keep going until it will do the job. Turn the clay bar to the clean side after a section, and soften it in the warm water every so often. When it comes to some very soft paints , sometimes its almost impossible to avoid marring completely while claybarring, but it should minimise it. In the case of standard paint for example german paint there should be no marring if all done right.

@OCDDetailing2021 thank you so much for your answer....the next time I will follow up this steps....and I have the Vasco pre wash but here in Cyprus is always heat and is difficult for me to use it but anyway thank you again for you advise.....
P.S. I see your channel because you are not promote only the big detailing companies...
And last can I use instead of Claybar clay mitt or towel?

@@user-sd8gb5qv2o For cars that are in very good condition and there is no or very little contaminations I use clay Mitt/towel , for cars with significant amount of contaminants I use claybar.
