It seems like they need to clean up the refereeing in the WNBA. They’re letting some people hack like crazy and calling phantom fouls on other players when there was no foul.
That is called "handchecking", like 90's nba basketball. That stuff is normal.

You can't see the feet in the replay because of the on-screen graphics and they cut off the video before the foul shots. Lame!
The funny thing is that it started as a flop. Plum didnt even touch her and she went down kicking her feet out

Just wondering why Plum wasn't called for the flagrant. She doesn't allow for Copper to land, and Copper lands on her foot and falls. Anything that happened afterwards happened because Copper was in the act of falling down, because Plum didn't allow for that.
Plum's feet were planted in the same spot as when the shooter first jumped to take the shot, and they didn't move until after the shooter was already falling to the ground

Are you old enough to remember when football linebackers wore those big collar pads around back of helmets? What about those strips on the nose? It's that kind of thing. My guess is... they want some protection against floor burn if they have to dive... but two legs covered would be too hot... so if they have to dive and slide they just press down the leg with the sleeve so they can slide.

What were the commentators looking at? It was clear that the foul was the contact to Plum's face.
the commentators saw the replay like 5 times but couldn't see that it was a flagrant due to the face.... that was the worst commentating i've ever seen/heard. it was obvious before any replays... not sure why they were fixated on the legs/feet.
Commentators deliberately avoided talking about the smack to the face lol
