I had the green and white striped Laura Ashley sailor dress back in 1987. I was 11 and it was bought for a family wedding. I wish I'd kept hold of it now!!!😢
Wow, fantastic finds! I so wish we had a charity shop like that around here. All ours are far too expensive and the stuff is poor quality. I’ve felt very disheartened for a while now. I’m waiting for the boot sales to start up again and am hopeful I’ll find some bargains that way.
Great finds! In defense of charity shops, I have a relative who volunteers in one. She was saying how diffuclt it is for shops to make money as each customer doesn’t spend a lot and their overheads have gone up, like everyone’s. They have to sell a lot of £3 items!
Hi Jane that was great you got some fabulous things there. I also love your bedroom it looks really pretty. I have just got two bedside lamps from the charity shop with pink shades, just what I was looking for £3 each. I'll pop an image in the group. Have a great week. ☺x
Looks like you found some good pickings! I have only picked up a few things for our vacation we just had and I wore them all. Prices in thrift shops in the US have just gotten so high. Luckily, several of the shops give discounts starting at age 55.
I purchased a whole chef uniform for a pound in Devon somewhere in the year 2000 when I was working in the UK and France. I thought that was an Awesome bargain back then 😊😊
The shop has come along way from what is was like much more organised and I have found some items still with tags on. The shop has some good brand names
I'm about to watch the video now, but I was wondering. Did you listen/ see the doctor's kitchen podcast of this week? Healing Your Thyroid with Dr Amy Gajjar. I immediately thought of you. I love the podcasts of the doctor's kitchen and the ones of Dr. Rangan Chatterjee as they focus on food, movement, mind and other ways besides medicine to be healthy.
Those curtains would look lovely in your bedroom ❤❤

I love Vinted! I have to ration myself though or I go mad...
Loake are a men’s shoe suppliers. I only know because hubby bought a pair many, many years ago. They last forever

I guess, but they have very low staff costs and don't have to pay for stock, so some of them do seem to overcharge. Our £1 shop is amazing, though!
@@ShoestringJane yes, some real bargains there!
You got a good buy with the sketchers I paid a fortune for the same ones last year xx
Lovely post x

We have a st Helena clearance in Clacton. It’s really good. A lot of charity are getting expensive. Nice haul. The red top is lovely.

It all looks great, and such bargain prices.

It is in Colchester in Essex.
Nice content but poor lighting.
Yes, I'm not the best at filming and only have my phone.
