If you happened to download this project in the first 24 hours after release, you might notice the included project file will not load properly into your software. We have corrected the issue, and if you re-download the project from your V&Co account it should be all fixed.
As someone who is new to CNC and Vectric desktop these videos are very helpful. Yesterday I was try to create a sign with curve text. I could not get on the right side then it went backwards lol. That darn learning curve. The distortion tool trick you showed is perfect! Thank you!
This was absolutely great!! Thank you so much for posting this. I learned a lot here and you're a fantastic teacher. Please keep making more of these tutorials for us. 👍😃
I did NOT know that you click the colours on the bit map itself, when tracing!! I could never figure out how to click the colour boxes to get the tracing I needed. Thanks for showing this 😊
Having painted MDF is a rather genius Idea. I thought it was a two layer plastic from the thumbnail but MDF is certainly a much more budget friendly option
Hello and thanks for the question. We suggest starting with VCarve Desktop, and then move up to VCarve Pro or Aspire once you have gotten comfortable with it or your project requirement have out grown the Desktop version. It is nice to know that when that time comes you only pay the difference between the version you own and the new one. It's almost like a downpayment for VCarve Pro... :)
The trial software allows you to design your project but can you also take it to the machine and actually be able to cut it out? I know a few years ago it did not allow you to do the machining.
Hello... you need to use a Trial Friendly Project like this one. You can't ajust or edit the layout, but you can modify the tooling to be safe and apprprate for your CNC, and then save off the tooling. We have more Trial Friendly project here - www.vectric.com/vectric-community/free-projects/free-trial?category=projects+of+the+month,tips+and+tricks,in+the+labs,partner+projects&tags=Trial&page=1&items=0&software=all&version=11.5
I like this channel but at the same time I don’t. I think you guy have the power to create anything you want and show the true power of your vectric software and you choose to use absolute basic projects that are mediocre at best. You’re creators and designers show vectric true power and actually amaze people with its capabilities
Hey Brandon... thanks for leaving the comment. We do try to ballance his out, and to be fair when we do put out a video that is at an "expert" level, we get the same sort of comments but in the other direction... "This is too complicated and we could not folllow along." There are alot of things that we take into consideration when we are creating our project to share, and complexity, and skill level are in there. We will take your comment on board... and thanks for leaving it.
