I lived 3 blocks off the river on 136th street in the Bronx and that section of the river is or was known as Hell Gate for good reason. The current thru there was treacherous. Good luck on all your dives in that river!

This is one of the hardest journeys to have to live through & it's so hard on those that care about you let alone love you. You & your family will always be in my prayers & thoughts. I've got an older sister that thankful has had to go through 2 completely different kinds of cancer. She is doing well & hadn't had any kind of relapse & hasn't any other issues developed since either.. Dhe just celebrated the 7th year anniversary. That was cool seeing the dive in its entirety. How deep were you guys? 20+? Toward the end I saw something that looked a little horseshoe-ish shaped and I thought for a brief second that it was a denture plate! Did you keep any of the Coke bottles, or at least one? Are you wanting to eventually find a bottle from every state for your collection? HOLY WOWZA!!!! A wall dedicated to Coca Cola bottles!! Oh yeah!!!! Glad you and Adam made it safely and please let us know what that bone is!!!
Wow you would think there might have been some frame left or axes of the car or rims of tires crazy that was right on spot where the car was dumped this was one wild ride of explore for that part 😮
New York City started forming when Dutch settlers arrived in or around 1624! So people been throwing crap in that river for almost 400 years! I can't even begin to imagine what we could find if there were a way to dam the inlet and let the water drain out there would be treasures beyond description! Kind of like what happened when they close down one side of Niagara Falls years ago!

Was something vital to Kevin's story found then and needed to be concealed or was it just a "chigger" in the GoPro? I was wondering if you could tell where the trunk was and if it is possible that the trunk as it rotted away could have covered some of the other bones?
