I am looking into this. I want to buy this particular one because of how much space there is on the bottom if I don’t use the bottom. Do you know if it would compromise the sturdiness and integrity of the bed if I just put on the top?
Yes the bottom bunk is structural. If you want a single bunk bed with space underneath, buy a Loft Bed / High Sleeper
