To be honest, it seems like a good model to get started in the hobby, for your kids or just because you like it. It looks sturdy and well built, quite fast as well. The shock absorber thing is a little disappointing but for the price the car already comes quite well equipped. Thank you for the effort and time you dedicate to making these videos and all the useful info you give, it can't be something easy to do and I sincerely believe that you deserve a larger audience, keep up the good work!
You did an excellent review. It's one of the most thorough anyone will find on UA-cam. t looks like a fun truck. The idea of including two batteries and two chargers is great. When a kid or an old kid opens it up on Christmas morning he or she will not have to wait too long to run it. That's something the big companies should copy and shows some thoughtful planning on Deerc's part. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Michael! I know it ran long but I wanted to go over everything as well as I could. The longer review videos may not get a many views but I wanted folk to know what they would be getting if they decided to try one out! I had a great time with it and I think it will be a really fun bash around truck. I was very surprised about the power and speed of it and they did not over gear it just to make it fast. It was very well done. Having the two batteries is great and being able to charge both at the same time is a great thing too! Although not a full 1/10th scale it is much bigger than most of the others in this area of the market and I hope they continue to do more like this. I would love to see rally type kit in this size from them!
@@AddamsPlayground I wonder if the continued production of r/c cars and trucks like this will prompt the bigger companies to produce products like the Gorgon at a more reasonable price. Although, the Gorgon charger is kind of a joke. By the way I think the Gorgon servo savers are in stock.
It is a great buggy and I really wish they would go ahead and re-release it. I know they would sell out over and over again if they did. I have one and I would buy a new kit just to be able to build one from kit form!!!
G'day Addam!😃, it was a nice surprise to see you posted a video👍we needed that. Thanks for making such a sharp, detailed & honest unboxing and review mate🏆. We hope you are sent more products of all shapes and sizes for testing and review. For that money you most likely couldn't buy a decent esc /motor combo, plus heaps of spares spur gear, 2 body shells etc😳,what a great truck!. Ingrid says " Hi Addam!! 🙋♀️". 😁. Thanks again mate, we hope you're having an awesome weekend👍🦘🇦🇺
Yeah, a little bonus content this week! I am glad you enjoyed it and I tried to go through it all as detailed as I could and show you all what you would be getting if you bought one. I have stayed away from the smaller ones as I don't think I can give them fair review but this larger one I was rather interested in! Although it is a little shy of a real 1/10 scale truck it is a much bigger and better size and it was a much better experience! It ran well on the track after I dialed it back some and out in the yard it was an animal! I did have to crack up when that tire took off away from the truck! I think for the $140 price tag you would be getting a good truck that will certainly make you have a great time with it and the parts are inexpensive if something does go wrong! Hi there Ingrid! You two have a wonderful week!
Thanks Jeremy! The extra parts they give you are perfect as they are the most commonly lost or misplaced ones on the truck! it ran really well and surprised me with the speed and power it has. Honestly I expected it to be over geared and run very hot like others I have gotten in the past but it was spot on! Now they just need to make more in this size! I would like to see a larger scale rally car from them like this, that would be really fun!
Thanks Fil! It is not quite my normal thing but the bigger size of it had me curious. Although it is not the size of a normal 1/10 scale truck, it is more like 1/12 scale, it still was a little animal out there! For all you get for $140 it is not a bad deal and it has plenty of speed and power on tap!!
I was pretty impressed with it. Overall a solid performance and it is a little beast. I was very happy it did not overheat but it did very well, they geared it properly!
Thanks it was a fun one! I generally stray away from these as most are too small for me to have fun with them. This one being a bit bigger sounded interesting and it worked very well. I think it would be a great one to have as a fun runner with your kids or just against some friends. It was also nice to see parts all seemed to be in stocks and reasonably priced which is a bonus!
Nice job with this review. As you know I've been reviewing for Deerc for years. I'm pretty sure I reviewed this one a few years ago with a different body though I think it was only 2s though I've reviewed so many of them for Deerc that I lose track. As you mentioned, this isn't a true 1:10. It's 1:12. This is actually Pxtoys chassis that's been sold under a bunch of brands such as Deerc and Enoze. Yeah, that boat is the only 3s Li-on pack I've ever received with anything. I'm glad they included 3s with this one. I know I still have a similar truck to this one on my shelf but I don't think it was 3s. Those shocks should be oil filled but they are often under filled or could even be empty but they original Pxtoys Piranha came with oil filled shocks but I had to fill them because they were only half full
Hey there Ryan! Between you and Robby I am sure both of you have reviewed these or something just like it in the past. I assumed it was going to be a bit shy of the 1/10 scale size but it is a much better size for me than the smaller, more common 1/18 scale trucks and buggies. They struggle a lot out here but this one just ate it up! It really surprised me with the speed and power but mostly that it did not get overheated when running it around. I would love to see a rally car or something like on this chassis, that would be fun too! I filled the shock up and there was no difference and when I opened it back up there is no piston in there. I am going to grab some cheap ones and stick on there I think. I will try and stick some thick diff oil in there to see if I can slow it down some and if it works then i will leave these on there! It still ran very well even with them not being oil filled!
Thanks Dirk! It was a good running truck and surprised me with the speed and power it has. I had other that were way over geared to try and get the speed up but sacrificed performance and ran very hot. This one was spot on and got a normal level of hot but nothing more! It drove well on the track but I had to dial it back to keep it from spinning out! Out in the yard it was cranked up and really ripped around well! All around good little RC truck that is a lot of fun.
It is a nutty little thing! Try not to whack yours into a fence post like I did! Thankfully it was a fixable issue with the tweaked axle! Have fun with it!
Yeah, I am going to play around with the stock ones and order some budget shocks for it. Maybe some thick grease in them will help but I think some cheap actual oil dampers will help it. Overall it seemed to do well enough with the stock shocks but for the track it would help so smooth it out.
Thanks Fonzie! It was kind of surprising at how fast and powerful this one is and it was a lot of fun ripping it around! I had kind of expected it to run hot and not perform as well as it did but that was based off prior experiences with other brands. This one is geared perfectly and did not get hot and is a a little animal! I am pleased with it and it will definitely get bashed around some more!!
Great review Addam. I think my nephews would live this truck. They have a lot of fun with my trx4 m's I let them play with they just want more speed lol. Thanks for the review perfect timing with Christmas shopping about to start.
If they are looking for speed this has it! I was very impressed with the speed and power out of this little truck. The geared it just right too as it did not run hot out there which is better than others I have driven. Overall it seems like a great little truck. In checking out the replacement parts they all seem quick and inexpensive to get so that is nice too. Glad you enjoyed the review, I had fun doing it!
Great review on this deerc! I have what looks to be one of they brushed versions of this and all I have really changed was get some real oil filled shocks for it. I have heard of people putting o-rings into the stock shocks and then they hold oil well but I haven’t tried it myself so it may or may not work but could be worth trying.
It is a cool little truck and it surprised me with the power and speed out of it. It is a rowdy one! The shocks don't have any pistons in them, it is literally just a long smooth shaft screw as the shock shaft. I am going to try sticking. Some thick diff oil in there to see if that might work, if not I will just grab an inexpensive set from Amazon or eBay and slap on there. I think it will help on the track more than just yard bashing but I have to find out how much difference it will make!! 😂
You having one of these on your channel is like me having a Tamiya on mine {hoping to change that} LOL! Dee Rc Does offer a lot here. for the money. I've had a few other versions of this from different companies and from my experience they were pretty tough. I put a few drops of lucas oil in the shocks to keep the oil and rebound tacky. Works pretty well doing this, but real oil filled one though should be what comes on there though. you did a great Job on this overview and product break down brother! It didnt do badly around your awesome track once you got it adjusted correctly. yard thrashing is where these shine the most in my opinion. Kinda great "do it all Rigs". I'd say considering the price and having part availability Its a no brainer and a great way to put a smile on that special some one's face. Great stuff Addam and thank you for sharing brother!
Hey there Robby! Yeah, not my normal routine but I was curious about this larger sized one. I was rather impressed with it and had a great time driving it. It was a bit to squirrely on the track turned all the way up but cranked down some it did fairly well. You are right about thrashing around in the yard was the most fun! I was very happy after all the ripping around the motor and esc were not overly hot. Seems like they did a real good job of gearing it properly and not over gearing like others I have had. It will definitely put a smile on your face and having the parts readily available and priced reasonably is also great! Take care Robby and have a great week!
Looks like a great little truck and a good value package not to big not to small for one of those cheap mid range bashers quality of the car seemed good for the money once you got it dialed in handled the track well, looks like you drive better the other direction lol it ran well in the yard you have an epic little property love that fence and bush line another great vid Addam 👊
It did surprisingly well all around. I have gotten kits before from this area of the market and they were over geared and ran extremely hot and were too small for my area. This larger one I was interested in as it would better suited for my track and yard. It is perfectly geared, did not run hot and went pretty much wherever I pointed it! (sometime where I didn't point it too! LOL!!) It is not my normal go-to type of RC but it was very fun and a much better size than the 1/18th sized one that are much more common. I would love for them to do a rally type kit in this size!
That poor fence line is hanging on by a hope and a prayer! Most of the posts are barely holding on. I have to get out and work on replacing it at some point! Just not looking forward to digging all the new holes!
We finally got the gorgon in stock got mainly rtrs only a few kits so I passed it up I'll waite for the kits to come in ...... and petrol post hole digger can't beat them honestly couple of minutes per hole incredible machines couple of hundred bucks at bunnings or home depot for you guy's well worth the investment or you can hire them for a few hour's
@@rcuintheshed6981 I got the parts for my Gorgon yesterday finally and got it all back together. It is a seriously fun one so once you see the kits pick one up, you will have fun with it! Just pick up a servo saver when you do! 😂
Addam a great overview of the DeeRC, i has a lot of power from the motor to get it on two wheels, the soeed is perfect for the size. Parts a readily available. Like how you went on line to get spare parts and the prices. Great video. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Al, I wanted to give it a full review and go over as much as I could think of and remember to do! It was a really fun little running truck and it looks an awful lot like the little ones you have. It has plenty of speed and power and they seem to have geared it proper to keep it from running too hot. All and all a fun little basher! I need to make some jumps for it!
My son just received a DeeRC for a birthday gift. I've have never heard of this brand before. It's a different model than yours, but essentially the same. It's an interesting RC to say the least!
Yeah they have a few different ones, some brushed, brushless and in various sizes. This one was a fun one and surprisingly fast and powerful. Much better than some of the other ones I have driven, but those were all 1/18 scale.
Great video Addam. They have been wanting me to do the same although I haven’t really looked into it. Looks like they make a decent product. Thanks for sharing.
This one was a fun one. I have gotten a couple smaller one from other companies and they are too small and did not enjoy them as much. This one, while not full 1/10th scale, it is a much better size and it is a fun little basher! I was pleasantly surprised by the power and speed of it and they did not over gear it to make it fast which is great!
It was a fun run with it and way more powerful and quicker than I expected! I really had to dial it back for the track as it was too much to maintain control of it out there! It was nice to see the parts were very reasonably priced and readily available as that is always a concern.
I think it is a decent little truck for a reasonable price and a newcomer or even an experienced RC enthusiast will have a great time with it. The gearing is very good as it did not run hot at all, which was a concern being a smaller motor, big tires and running on 3s but but it was very normal once I got done!
It is a fun and nutty little truck, A real fun one to have around when you wan to thrash one something and have no worries about it! I am was very surprised by the speed and power if the little guy, I was impressed!
You are welcome, it was my pleasure! I would say it is around that 1/12th scale size and it was way better than than the smaller 1/18th scale ones I have driven. This one was fun and handled everything very well and was little animal just romping around in the yard. Some 2.2 buggy tires would be a good size and lots to choose from!
@ I will keep a look out for your video Adam think I’m gonna pull mine apart and grease the diffs but first impressions it’s definitely got potential for the price not touched RC since Christmas of 85 when I got an hornet how times have changed keep up the videos my man 💙👊🏻
@@leedempsey5390 yeah things are a bit different now in many ways but in a lot of ways it is the same. Technology has changed but the general mechanics are about the same and still a lot of fun!!
@ they seemed very expensive back in the day compared, they are great fun and bring a smile to your face … until you break them 😂 my best friend snapped a tamiya frog in half off a kerb on Boxing Day the frog was one day old I will never forget them tears 😂
@@leedempsey5390 The price of the RC have not greatly increased and the Batteries are actually cheaper now then back then especially when you factor in the performance. I can run for 20-30 minute on some batteries that are about $25 each compared to the old nicad packs you would get 5-7 minutes out of for $20 a pop! LOL
Hi there Addam, that was a great in-depth review and test! These RTR trucks are great fun and are built surprisingly well for the price, excellent for some "guilt free" RC fun!!! I almost cried when I first crashed my hard-body Lancia 037... 😅 But with the DeeRC I just tested it seemed to just bounce off everything and keep going! Oh yeah, those body clips, I call 'em "Houdini Clips" 'cos they just keep escaping! 🤣. I know you prefer 1/10 scale rigs, but if you get offered a H14BM Hyper Go, please say "yes"!!! All the best, dude!
Thanks Mark! I think you nailed it, a perfect guilt free RC is just about right. It is one if driving you stuff it under a tire of a parked car and crumple up the body, oh well! Nice thing is there is two of them in the kit! It all seems to be built with durability and beginners (and experienced folks) smashing it into things in mind! I really wish I had caught that tumble on video where I bent the axle, it was impressive! Yeah the slippy clippies had to go but that is a minor thing. The bigger ones out work a lot better but i will keep that name in mind if I am offered! It has been a while since i got any offers for reviews. I figured after turning down a few of the other brands smaller ones I had gotten removed from the email lists! LOL! I am glad DEERC reached out though. Take care my friend!
No it is not junk, I don't recall calling it trash. I was unsure on how well it would do but it really surprised me and it was a little beast!! They did well with this one and it is fast, tough and the motor and electronics did not get hot so they did a good job with it. It is still a bit smaller than 1/10 scale but it performs well and you don't notice the size when driving, it is going too fast! LOL! Sorry if it something in there came across confusing, it is a pretty good little truck at a reasonable price and I had a great time with it.
@@AddamsPlayground thank you for your reply , I love your channel. My apologies to you as I made an error in commenting , I watched your video review which was great then watched another you tuber who called it trash , I posted a question asking why he called it trash and accidentally posted it in your comment section by accident while scrolling. You didn’t call it trash , my apologies it was meant for another video. I love your channel. I have just purchased this truck from Amazon based on your review and can not wait for it to arrive. Thanks Mark! It was a long on but there was a lot to cover. Yeah it looks like a fun little truck for sure. Not really my Cup of tea. BUT it sure would make a beginner happy to be able to start of with something like this. Bead locks? Now THAT was a surprise!! It seemed to run the track pretty well, as well. Even OVER the barrier here and there. lol
Yeah, it is not the normal I gravitate towards but it was a little ripper. It would make a really good first hobby grade RC and it has more than enough speed and power to make you face light up! The bead lock wheels was an unexpected surprise. They are not really heavy wheels either which is good. It romped around well pretty much everywhere and took a tumble and kept on trucking!
Yeah, deicided to go ahead and run it as it comes for the review. I am going to pick up some 80mm shocks for and not worry about making these work. Overall it did not really seem to matter much while driving it.
Hi Addam, very interesting review of the DeeRC truck. I was a little surprised with no piston in the shocks 🤔 having oil on the shocks, but without a piston, kind of defeats the object of having oil shocks 🤔. But I will give it to DeeRC, it seems to take the punishment well, it’s got some power and spares are easily and readily available too 😂😊😂best wishes to you and the family 😊😊
It is a cool little truck and the only negative thing I can say about it is the odd choice of shocks. It is like everything was there to make them good except a proper shock shaft and piston. I am going to try some thick oil in one and see if it will provide a little dampening but more than likely I am going to order a $15-20 set of oil shocks for it. It is plenty fast and I was.happy to see it did not get overly hot. All in all a real fun one and I look forward to romping it around some more! Take care John and all the best to you and yours!
Looks like you have Losi XXT graphite arms on there. I bought the entire graphite chassis set, lunsford titanium turnbuckles/hinge pins, Titanium motor screws, MIP CVDs, Fast Eddie bearings, nearly everything on my XXT and never even raced it. I miss that truck. Too damn expensive to keep it running, honestly.
In looks only! Overall it seems like a tough little fun haver! Not going to be much more than that but parts are cheap and it rips! Yes the vintage buggies are getting very expensive to get parts for, especially Losi and Associated. They seem to have the most expensive parts out there! I have some vintage kits but they are mostly Tamiya and Kyosho just because of the additional cost involved with the others!
It is a good size. Small enough to run just about anywhere but big enough it can handle itself in the grass and rough stuff without always rolling and flipping. Nothing is more annoying than having to pick up your car every minute or so to flip it over, it takes all the fun out of driving!
Impressive RTR Addam saw a similar one on MarksRC channel a couple of days ago look a decent brand and well built.. be interesting to see what other shocks may fit. I guess mai issue with this type of RTR is the spares when something bends or breaks or you want hop up parts.. Pete 😊
It is a really fun little truck and much better than the smaller 1/18th scale ones that are so common in the area of RC. Although t is not true 1/10 scale the larger overall wheelbase makes it more stable and easy to drive. There are quite a few budget shocks out there on Amazon that will work for it. I am just getting a generic set of 80mm shocks for it but honestly I don't think that the ones on their hurt the performance too much, it still drove well. Parts support is a very valid concern but these are made under several differnt names I believe and currently there is a good amount of parts available for them. I got the replacement driveshafts in one day that I ordered for spares! I don't think this will be one I am still driving 15 years from now like my others but I think that is going to be the way with most modern kits as they will ge retired after 5 Year and thenparts slowly dwindle out of stock and it becomes a run it at your own risk as if it breaks it will stay broken! Take care Pete!
I have not run it with the speed meter. It is pretty fast, mid 30s roughly from a seat of the pants off road running. I am sure someone out there has, I just have not. I have run a couple Hosim trucks but not the X07. Wish I could help compare them, sorry.
It is roughly 24 feet wide by 40 feet long. Right around 6 foot lanes, you could go a little narrower but 6 foot gives you enough room to run a few out there and when you are by yourself you won't be banging into the pipes all the time.
I have the higher end hobby grade RCs and they are becoming old and parts are super hard to find and they are too fast for my 8 and 5 year old boys, I just ordered them 2 of the 1/16 scale ones from Amazon for $116 each Canadian and they loved them and they lasted 20 mins on one charge and after putting the part numbers on Amazon all the parts came up between 15 and 30 bucks I'm too attached to my hobby grade RCs and I do not want my kids to hurt them selfs or someone in the park so these cheaper RCs are a God send really and I ordered my self a 1/14 truggy that runs on 3s You simply cannot buy a hobby grade RC car for these kinda prices. They come with batteries extra body's and brushless for under 200$!! Traxxas arrma losi cannot come down to this kind of bang for the buck Huge company's monster profits then you got the little guy pumping out 1/18 1/16 1/14 and 1/10 scale affordable trucks and cars I love it. On my savage trucks as I have almost all the line up of hpi savage line up I'm easily in to them for 5k taking some are upgraded with rpm arms and such
Yes, they are great "sacrificial' ones to beat up and not have to worry about overspending or searching for months to find parts for them. I like having a couple of kits like this on hand if someone wants to run one when they come over or just to romp around and not have to care if it goes back on the shelf dirty and gritty! They are a lot faster and tough than ones from even a few years ago. They realized they had to step up their game to contend in the market. It is nice to have more inexpensive options!
Nice little rig, great review aswell. Wierd that they give you 2 bodys, but a good idea if you need two of them, or like me, you wreck things 😂 at that price its a bargain 👍
It is a cool little truck and a really fun one to drive. Lots of power and speed out of it. I think the two bodies is probably due to the wing mounting directly to the body shell and it will bet stressed and eventually start creasing and cracking the body back there over time. So it is nice they give you the second one right off to replace it when needed! It is the type of truck that is going to tumble around a lot, with all the power and speed it is just natural for it to hook and roll or just flip over backward from time to time! Overall it is great little basher truck that is a lot of fun and a really nice price. I was pleasantly surprised by it!
I was kind of surprised when I got the email from them. I have turned down some others as they were the smaller 1/18th scale size and they just don't work well enough for me out here. When I saw this bigger one I figured I would give it a go. It is actually a really fun one and did well out here! Who knows, you may be their next email... Take care Thad!
@@quitedownbae3982 yeah it is a fun one to just rip around. I personally love it on e the dirt but I am sucker for slinging the dirt and dust around all over. The only thing I would say negative is the motor is going to need to cool off in between runs to keep from getting it too hot. other than that I have enjoyed mine.
if I am going to use this truck with and FPV, I want to run it around my block only , but how can I make sure the truck and controler wont fail against the FPV signal?
I have no experience with FPV but I don't think it will be a problem as I think it is a different band of signal used for the FPV gear so you should not have an interference issue. Again, I have done it myself but I know a lot of folks have done it with no issues. Best of luck with it, I would love to try it but I am pretty sure I'd puke for sure trying to watch it and drive at the same time in the goggles!!!
Mine broke after about 8 battery runs of mild bashing small jumps on grass and dirt mounts, front and rear diff slipping and a broken shock. Also the bodies are thin plastic trash that got totally destroyed after a few upside down landings on grass.
I have only run mine a couple times so far. Thankfully just the bent drive shaft I was able to fix and the body is showing some stress marks in it. I will keep an eye on the diffs but so far everything is feeling good. I need to get back out with it more but I have just not had the time over this last month or so. Maybe contact DEERC and see if they can help you out at all, worth a shot.
Care to elaborate? Is it because it is not a big name brand? Is it because you have one and don't like it? Is it because you didn't like the review? Or do you have to poop?
@@philthyco1 Didn't know that. I don't get too many of these Amazon RCs so I don't know the history and interchangeability of them all. I know there is a ton of overlap between many of them though.

@@AddamsPlayground
Thanks from us mate and you have a fantastic week mate!
Your review gave me the motivation I needed to blow the dust off my old car and get back into it. Thanks!
Get out there and have some fun with it! I need to get back out with mine as well!
Looks like a nice rig; I’ve had pretty good luck with DeeRC vehicles!
Lots of spares in the box which is great!
Nice review Addam!👍😊
Thanks Jeremy! The extra parts they give you are perfect as they are the most commonly lost or misplaced ones on the truck! it ran really well and surprised me with the speed and power it has. Honestly I expected it to be over geared and run very hot like others I have gotten in the past but it was spot on! Now they just need to make more in this size! I would like to see a larger scale rally car from them like this, that would be really fun!
Great review, Addam. Have fun with the new kit!
Thanks Fil! It is not quite my normal thing but the bigger size of it had me curious. Although it is not the size of a normal 1/10 scale truck, it is more like 1/12 scale, it still was a little animal out there! For all you get for $140 it is not a bad deal and it has plenty of speed and power on tap!!
That looks like a solid little unit Addam
I was pretty impressed with it. Overall a solid performance and it is a little beast. I was very happy it did not overheat but it did very well, they geared it properly!
It's a rebranded PXtoys Piranha.. It's junk.
Hey Addam, nice RC there pal! Always fun seeing these RTRs and what you get for the money 🙌🏻
Great presentation Addam. These truck looks great and comes along with a lot of stuff. It also runs cool on your course👍
Great video man ! I’ve just bought my one , it’s coming on Thursday! Can’t wait to try it !
It is a nutty little thing! Try not to whack yours into a fence post like I did! Thankfully it was a fixable issue with the tweaked axle! Have fun with it!
Not bad, probably would run even better with some shock dampening! I think my brother in law got this one.
Yeah, I am going to play around with the stock ones and order some budget shocks for it. Maybe some thick grease in them will help but I think some cheap actual oil dampers will help it. Overall it seemed to do well enough with the stock shocks but for the track it would help so smooth it out.
Great review Addam 🎉
Looks like a great value for money and lots of fun
Thanks Fonzie! It was kind of surprising at how fast and powerful this one is and it was a lot of fun ripping it around! I had kind of expected it to run hot and not perform as well as it did but that was based off prior experiences with other brands. This one is geared perfectly and did not get hot and is a a little animal! I am pleased with it and it will definitely get bashed around some more!!
@@AddamsPlayground as you know raster is not always better a happy medium it's great 👍😁
Just got one a few days ago was really surprised what u get for the money .. awesome and detailed review brother
They are a pretty good deal and boy is it a hyper one! Parts are also affordable if you break something. I have had fun with mine!
I was pleasantly surprised by the power and speed of it and they did not over gear it to make it fast which is great!
not bad lil truck! its impressive to see it having parts support too
It was a fun run with it and way more powerful and quicker than I expected! I really had to dial it back for the track as it was too much to maintain control of it out there! It was nice to see the parts were very reasonably priced and readily available as that is always a concern.
Nice looking starter truck. It looks like it's fun to drive and has some good power.
I think it is a decent little truck for a reasonable price and a newcomer or even an experienced RC enthusiast will have a great time with it. The gearing is very good as it did not run hot at all, which was a concern being a smaller motor, big tires and running on 3s but but it was very normal once I got done!
looks ok that mate , Good review Addam 😀
It is a fun and nutty little truck, A real fun one to have around when you wan to thrash one something and have no worries about it! I am was very surprised by the speed and power if the little guy, I was impressed!
We seen you drive this plastic toy and honestly you put this thing alot and great demo im going to buy one
Glad you enjoyed the review. It was a fun one to rip around and it has plenty of punch and speed. Have fun with yours!!
Interesting. Thank you for this Addam. I would say it's a 1/12 truck. I would put 2.2 stadium truck wheels on it.
Just grabbed one the other day great video my man 💙👊🏻
It is a quick little thing! I am taking it out to see what the top speed is on it very soon.
Excellent review. Thanks.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! I need to find the time to get a follow up video done for this one. Spring time and life is busy!!! LOL!
You can put Marine grease in the shocks.
One thing i like this model is it has longer wheel base than xinlehong 9125 or hbx 2996
It is a good size. Small enough to run just about anywhere but big enough it can handle itself in the grass and rough stuff without always rolling and flipping. Nothing is more annoying than having to pick up your car every minute or so to flip it over, it takes all the fun out of driving!
@@AddamsPlayground yes agree with you.
Anyone ever speed test this on the road? Reminds of hosim x07..but from reviews its may be better in a few ways..
I have not run it with the speed meter. It is pretty fast, mid 30s roughly from a seat of the pants off road running. I am sure someone out there has, I just have not. I have run a couple Hosim trucks but not the X07. Wish I could help compare them, sorry.
How big is that track in your yard? I'm gonna make one in my back yard
It is roughly 24 feet wide by 40 feet long. Right around 6 foot lanes, you could go a little narrower but 6 foot gives you enough room to run a few out there and when you are by yourself you won't be banging into the pipes all the time.
"...you don't want everything to be super rigid..."
Hey! That is what I tell my wife!
LOL!!! exactly, you don't want any breakages!
@@AddamsPlayground better bent with a dent than snapped with a crack!
I have the higher end hobby grade RCs and they are becoming old and parts are super hard to find and they are too fast for my 8 and 5 year old boys, I just ordered them 2 of the 1/16 scale ones from Amazon for $116 each Canadian and they loved them and they lasted 20 mins on one charge and after putting the part numbers on Amazon all the parts came up between 15 and 30 bucks
I'm too attached to my hobby grade RCs and I do not want my kids to hurt them selfs or someone in the park so these cheaper RCs are a God send really and I ordered my self a 1/14 truggy that runs on 3s
You simply cannot buy a hobby grade RC car for these kinda prices.
They come with batteries extra body's and brushless for under 200$!! Traxxas arrma losi cannot come down to this kind of bang for the buck
Huge company's monster profits then you got the little guy pumping out 1/18 1/16 1/14 and 1/10 scale affordable trucks and cars I love it.
I wish they’d contact us. We’ve got a few DeeRc or rebranded DeeRc cars. They’re great RC’s.

@@quitedownbae3982 yeah, from what I have seen of other reviews they seem pretty even in the performance category.
@@AddamsPlayground for 120 is it a good off-road basher?

@@cosasdekhufu I have not gotten it too far away from me. Maybe 40 yards or so is about as far as I have gotten it out away from me.
