Just came into the shop and picked up a Mojave Grom for myself. My wife gave me the go ahead. lol. Next month I hope to grab the Typhon Grom. Btw if you have the ability to go their shop… do it. Great stuff and not pushy at all.
Hi, I have a question. How do I reverse the throttle on a Spektrum SLT2? That is, I pull the trigger and the vehicle goes forward. Could you help me? Thanks!
Arrma has a v2 off the stock diffs that will now come with a new kit. part # ARA311177V2 At this price point the grom has incredible value. I ran one through a few packs and really enjoyed it. I’d really like to see this run against the T/A 14b reflex on a track. T/A just released the 14b builders kit so I’m hoping they both will make small scale buggy racing more popular. 10th and 8th scale can get expensive quick.
Awesome review mark. Yes Arrma is killing it. Lets see if Traxxas can make something like that to the competition. Definitely a great little RC for beginners.
Depends on the length of the grass, mine does fine but will struggle and get pretty hot if the grass is too tall/thick. Does best on harder surfaces. Sports field level grass is idea.
Drives great but breaks easily. Diffs are plastic. Axle cups plastic. Servo failed. Battery burned up. Will fail eventually if not immediately. Fun car to drive but expect to spend another $100 to make it reliable.
This is the best video on all of UA-cam regarding the Typhon Grom. Well done.
@@jikemenkins7098 wow, thank you so much for your input. I really really appreciate that.
Thank you!! Well, you know it's about time someone recognized this channel showed their true potential. Let there be Arrma Grom!!

My front shocks are stiffer than the rear I don't jump my cars I want my suspension to work on bumps and rough surfaces 🙂👍
The batteries last for a year or so? Or how much time? Hard to find in my country
Nice review Mark great and informative information as always keep these reviews coming !

Great review, definitely posted this vid in my FB Group!
Ty !
Can a transponder be added to the esc/receiver on these? Great overview!
I wish arrma would make adjustable turnbuckles and camber links that would help a lot on handling 🙂👍
Yes. In the Turns it would help
I don't jump my cars and my typhon grom is very strong and stable and it will run 25mph now after it broke in 😮😎👍

Traxxas released many models to compete with this, mini revo, latrax teton.....
@@paulrakis I've been racing nitro cars for 20years and these arrma groms are a pleasure to drive and I'm not a kid but I do enjoy the groms 😎👍
How does it do in grass?

Mine lasted 15 minutes. Flat dirt only. Rear is locked up.

We have 6 of these fantastic and cannot break them. Not sure how you failed anything
