Lake Tenkiller Tahlequah, Ok. My Aunt pulled a 23 inch 3.2lbs Crappie, around 2002 could have been the lake record then. I got a 16 inch one couple years ago, biggest I've ever caught, felt like I caught a catfish. Lol. Great looking fish brother.
I've been on tha hunt for C😢rappie ( Sacalait) in #Louisiana near New Orleans since I've moved here in 3 years ago I'm from LA and you do this ! I'm so mad but happy for you dude wtf! 😂🎉🎉😅
That is a monster! I would have kept that one as well, and it would be on my wall. That’s the kind of trophy that taxidermy was made for. Nice fish, dude,
I tried to hoist a crappie like that onto a dock I was fishing one time. I forgot I had been looking at crappie "pro tips" the night before and I had switched to 2lb test lol. When I tried to flip the fish onto the dock my drag didn't release and my line snapped 😂... I felt literally sick I was so mad at myself for not netting it.
@@KEYSTONE_SLABS, Sitting at the Top of the Water like 3feet from Me with the Head pointed downward and watching the big minnows flashing below the submersible green fluorescent light.. I almost touched the fish.. With a scoop net, I could have easily Caught it.. Thanks
I caught one about that size out of a golf course pond in 1986. It was the weirdest thing because it died almost as soon as I pulled it out of the water and it didn't swallow the hook. First and last time I've ever seen that happen.
@@noujaiyang1513 it was very thick and yes full of Eggs. I have caught thousands of crappie (I LIVE to be on the lake fishing) but that was the only one I EVER caught anywhere near that large. Yeah- hey that's a big ol sac-au-lait! I can smell em when they're in spawn near the banks- it's a shame too cause i don't eat them this time of year- when you can catch them by accident. Other times of the year, when i'd like a cooler full, no where to be had..
