this is one of those animations you gotta watch multiple times cause it didn’t really feel like you took anything in the first time cause there’s just too much to appreciate idk i don’t know how to explain it. this is beautiful and a great use of this song and Mari’s character

Not only is the animation for this absolutely amazing,I love how somebody final goes to the perspective of Mari,even though I like when people observe or theorize about hero,kel,Aubrey, and Sunny 's perspective of Mari' sdeath,I like that this animation shows how Mari feels or might feel about her own death,and how that's alot to think about
Personally obsessed with the fan theory that Mari is stuck in limbo/purgatory, that limbo being Headspace. And she only gets released once Sunny tells the truth in the good ending, since that leads to headspace's destruction and her ascension. Not only that- this animation is so pretty and well done! The characterization of Mari is done so well :]
au where the Mari in Sunny’s mind and hallucinations is actually Mari, because Sunny’s grief and guilt was so strong that it latched onto Mari and kept her from fully going to the afterlife
So now she’s been stuck in Sunny’s headspace, having her memories wiped and reset over and over again with only brief moments of lucidity, seemingly forever learning of her own death and how she’s now trapped here by not only her own brother but her own unwilling killer
Every time she realises getting so close to finally being set free only for everything to be reset and her memories wiped, all going back to the start and doing it all over again
WOW. Actually even if it's only an AU it makes so much sense to the actual game!! Like in the Omori happy ending when Sunny smiles at Basil we can see Something has faded away, which could mean Mari has finally went to the afterlife😭

But yeah I’d love to see more content like this with Mari, I think the only content similar to this is the omari au stuff but even then it doesn’t really give that right scritch if you get what I mean?
I like to do RP with the idea where the friends can actually go to Headspace too and it's really Mari there and when her friends are awake she is building a new life now that everything has changed and she's lost every thing and become sadder and wiser but she also has this whole new world to explore where there is no pressure to be perfect
She’s gonna go absolutely insane and things are gonna be like the Shining really fast.
This is something I headcanon and do often with rps when we go to headspace with some friends, because at least in the game we have interacted with what seems to be spirit Mari, so it only seems to make sense she is stuck until after the game.
I love how it shows Mari's perspective of her death and how she would be scared and sad because she planned her life out and she loved her life

SOMETHING was created by someone else.
OMORI was created by the same person.
Mari is being impersonated by SOMETHING else while Sunny is being manipulated by the beings he created.

There’s so many creative details in this animation!!! And the way this animation is synced with the music is so smooth!!!!!!!!

Mari perspective of the story is truly one of the most interesting.

ahhh!!! this is SUPER GOOD!!! im so happy we finally get mari content like this. there's a lot of mari fanart, but i rarely see any that really shines a light on her situation like this, from her perspective. whether the black and white mari is sunnys hallucination or a real spirit, death must be scary, especially because she was no older than 16 and had worked so hard for her future. it's nice to see people allow her to freak out. not go mention the animation is super smooth and colored super pretty. thank you for this video, i really wanted to see it!!!

we need more content of mari’s POV i feel like people just completely look over at her and see her as really nothing but sunny’s trauma.
This is so cool, the animation, transitions, and everything! I’m going to add my thoughts a little bit if that’s okay, sorry in advance ahah. I can just tell the amount of thought put into each frame. The frames with Mari in each switch makes me think of how abrupt her death was and how let’s say if there was an afterlife Mari could’ve been afraid of what went and even go as far as to not understood it when it all happened so fast. So at least what I interpreted, I really like how it shows that sort of emotion and reasonable panick and feelings of uncertainty even though it was an accident.

I love how you had Mari realize what had happened to her! Despite the fact that the point of Omori is that none of it's real, I have always wanted to see content about it really being Mari and she has to come to terms with what happened beyond spirit Mari appearing for five seconds to tell Sunny to forgive himself or Something or Hellmari chasing Sunny - it would be a really cool story!
there is a scene in the game with hero having heard a piano Mari was playing in what had appeared to be a hallucination of sunnys, so it might not be entirely in sunnys head, still, the whole thing is intentionally ambiguous

i love the fact that i used to play violin bc watching this i was like "no wonder Mari was pissed at him he's playing the violin violently wrong, his bow if far from the correct spot!" lol it makes it extra funny bc people in my orchestra class would play on that spot on purpose to make this ear shattering high pitch nose to piss people off and if you where to play that on the E string it makes it even more high pitch bc that's the the most high pitched (couldn't think of another word..) sting on the violin and it looks like he's playing the E string in that spot
