Fascinating, thanks for this 🙏
Thanks for watching 🙂
Hi Viktor, would be interested to see the same test using medium chain triglyceride (C8 only) or methylene blue.
I have used C8 for weight training and it worked well...the body preferentially utilizes that fuel and spares the muscle glycogen just like what the ketones do.
The merhylene blue operates differently, but people swear by its ability to enhance aerobic capacity. However, i have never tried it.
Thank you.
@Viktor Thorup As an improvement in %, the values do not look particularly good in the high watt range. Even if you calculate with 1% power meter deviation, the improvement is equal to 0. 1% power meter deviation can be caused by calibration or temperature differences alone.
In addition, the info is missing if the zones were calculated via the FTP or how they were determined. So it is a pure advertising video.
Love from india 🇮🇳 no hate 😊
Spændene.
5 WATTS only ? not worthy at all sorry man
I don't understand neither. 5 watts is negligible by all standards. Ridiculous.
Maybe that’s a big difference for ProCyclist
@@gerssonmorales9521 That's a big difference for nobody, especially not for an elite athlete. 5 watt on an output of 400 watt or more is 1.25%. In a race, there are other factors that are very important too, so that 1.25% more power output will be negligible.
@@jansnauwaert1785 I agree 💯%
@@jansnauwaert1785 running this through a simulator, 300watts vs 305 watts in a 40k TT is about 20 seconds time difference. Races of that distance are won and lost by less than that margin almost every time. If the 5 watt gain was real, for a well trained athlete, it would be a miracle that every professional would jump on. The question is whether it is real, since day to day variability, and power meter error together can amount to more than 5 watts. We would want to see this test repeated many times to be convinced there was any gain at all.
