your makeup looks so romantic and beautiful; I actually think that the Boy Brow + Brow Wiz combo is stunning! I also appreciate that, in the case that you didn't love a product because of coverage or pigmentation, you didn't say it was bad, you just noted that it wasn't enough for you. I find some beauty UA-camrs tend to think that everyone likes full-coverage, high-glam makeup, and if a product doesn't fit that style, it's just a bad product.

Jenny Wilde completely agree! They’ll say the products are trash because they do exactly what Glossier says they’ll do. It drives me crazy. I also don’t get people that request a Glossier video from a UA-camr that is full glam, full coverage all the time; spoiler alert- they’re going to hate it 🙄

I feel like Glossier is kind of overpriced for the actual product but I love the concept, it’s a very French take on make up; it’s all about perfecting the imperfections almost, these products are not for contouring or for covering super pigmented spots, and I think people don’t get that?
Yolanda G exactly! whenever i see videos on glossier i always hear them talking about how little coverage it has. that's the whole point of the brand. to bring out your natural beauty, not cover it.

If you are, I suggest checking out a few Korean brands. They generally do the dewy, low-coverage barely-there look for a fraction of the price of Glossier A lot of tinted moisturizers and lip tints/glosses. For lower end, Missha and Etude House are nice, and for higher end I like Iope.
K M i mean, glossier’s makeup isn’t that expensive. it’s a bit pricey but their skincare is way more expensive. personally i like it tho and i personally think it’s worth it :) plus they have great customer service!!!
@@scarlett-zd3lq I'm sure they do! If you're willing to spend the money on it and you love it then more power to you. However, the light coverage foundations from Missha are half the price, and the lip tints/cheek tints go for literally less than $5. In comparison, yeah, Glossier is expensive.

it makes me laugh how a LOT of youtube's beauty gurus who try glossier products don't like it because "it's not enough" or "barely there" etc, etc...but truth be told, most of them never looked better lol
and while I think everybody should wear the kind of makeup they want, this is the kind of makeup that'll look cute and fresh in real life, full coverage is only so good behind cameras with adequate lighting.
Exactly! A full, heavy face of makeup looks GREAT on camera, but in real life…not so much. Glossier’s makeup seems better for everyday life.

It is not bad quality. Glossier’s products are intended to be sheer and minimal. Their brand is all about natural beauty. The products are sheer for a reason, just because sheer and natural products aren’t something you like, doesn’t mean the products are bad quality.

A full face of Milk Makeup! I always find myself drawn in by their whole aesthetic (kind of like Glossier) but I've only made one purchase from the brand so far. It's be awesome to see a full face of their products!

What she added that wasn’t glossier was very minimal I have to say I would like to see what it would have looked like without any other products added. Like a true Glossier only face. This is still a gorgeous minimal makeup look. I’m impressed with how she added extra to her eyes and still ended up natural. I always find I add a little, then a little more and before I know it I have a full on Smokey eye and I’m not even wearing foundation cause what I was going for was a minimal look. 😆

This style of makeup is definitely more up my alley. I used to think there was something wrong with me for not liking the look of full-face glam on myself but I'm so happy that the French style of makeup is becoming more popular in the US and Australia. Love how personal makeup is. I think this look is beautiful on you :)
I started using the Glossier skin tint a few weeks ago and I am OBSESSED. I feel like full coverage foundations/bb/cc creams (whatever lol) just make my wrinkles look deeper! Defs a full on fan girl of Glossier now haha
Robyn Kimberly i’d think tints are good for teens with young skin just starting out. This 40 something needs full coverage. Not cc/bb etc lol. But I do have dryyyyy skin and have to be careful around eyes. Shape tape and most concealers are too drying. And baking?? Forget it lol

Same. I have pretty bad acne but I still love the way the skin tint looks on my skin. It's like I don't care that you can see my blemishes because my complexion looks so smooth and even and healthy when I wear it.

Her skin is so clear anyways so she doesnt need too much foundation to make her look good, I think that is why the skin tint looked so pretty on her

I thought you looked amazing just before applying the bronzer! Your skin is so lovely, and your face shape is beautiful. If anyone, anyone at all, could carry off minimal makeup, it is you. It is no wonder that everyone has been asking for it. I'm sure so many people wish they could carry that off, and think, as I so often do, if my face was that perfect I would wear nearly nothing and absolutely glory in it.

I still love Real Techniques brushes. I especially love their setting brush for highlight. Glossier is definitely a very no-makeup makeup brand. The Lid Stars work better without an eyeshadow primer. On me they get cakey and crumble off my eyes. Cloud Paint, Boy Brow, Priming Moisturizer, Balm Dot Com, and Wowder are my top picks 😊💗💯

You pay for the formula, not the amount of pigment they put in. Just like how I wouldn't pay so much for a full coverage foundation just to look cakey

You can buy eyeshadows with lots of pigment at the discount store. Glossier, you pay for looking like you are naturally beautiful. That's what their research, formula, and ingredients are trying to achieve.
I was skeptical of Glossier because I have some hyperpigmentation and didn’t think I’d look good without full coverage foundation. But I’ve never gotten so many compliments as when I’ve worn the skin tint. It brightens my face and evens my skin tone without looking cakey. I love the boy brow too. It’s really low maintenance makeup, which I prefer when I only have 10 min to get ready. I look younger too with the whole Glossier look than when I go full glam. (I’m 37.)
yessss, now I'm excited for my makeup to come in the mail (specifically skin tint because I was skeptical on ordering it because I'm like wow...yikes...$26 for a skin tint, so lets hope I like it too)

I feel like the thing with Glossier is that individually they don’t really appear to have much of an impact.
But overall, once you use the full face of makeup, you can definitely tell a difference. No doubt it’s a “natural/‘no makeup’ makeup” kind of look.
But if you compared yourself from the beginning of the video and then the end with all the products on, there is a definite difference.

I feel like the skin tint does more to perfect the complexion beside just adding coverage via pigment. Something else about the formula makes you look good. I like it. Oh and also LOVING the cloud paints, so far I have dusk and dawn. Both beautiful. I ordered stretch concealer the other day and it's still on the way. Also wanting to get Leo, maybe the wonder, and the niacinamide, hyaluronic, and vitamin c serums....
I use real techniques every day! I can’t live without the expert face brush and deluxe concealer brush. they definitely deserve more hype!

Kathleen I don’t know why you think you need more coverage than the skin tint, it’s looks lovely ! Do you not realize how young you actually are ? You talk about smile lines and lines you don’t even have ... wait until you pass 35! Trust me, stop covering things you don’t even have and enjoy your beautiful skin as it is !!! I am a Plastic Surgeon so I deal with the effects of aging constantly and you have none so enjoy !

estarr so what? If she thinks she has lines, maybe she does... even at 23 I have a few lines and can see aging from when I was in my teens. You don’t just flip a switch at 35 and age, it happens gradually. Kathleen is obviously gorgeous but if she wants something that doesn’t settle into lines, then that’s fine.
@@rebeccacompton5307 You can't be aging since puberty since your body is working way differently than when you are above 35. There are lines caused by natural facial expressions and there are wrinkled caused by the natural aging of the skin, when you produce less collagène, etc..
Eva Eilea don’t be ridiculous, aging just doesn’t work that way. It’s a gradual thing, not flip a switch at 35 and age.

i still love and use real techniques!!! the sponge is the only one i use and the brushes are so good and affordable that i dont see why i would spend more on anything else, morphe is cheap too but i prefer shopping for brushes in store🤗

Jette hi! I know I’m not Kathleen but if you want to try out their products, she said she likes the extra volume mascara (I think that’s what it’s called in english, it as a black geometrical packaging) and I personnally like their smart lipsticks, very affordable yet great pigmentation and color selection (except the red one, it leaves weird white residus in the inside of my lips)! I also liiiive for their clear gloss in the flat packaging, super wet looking and not that steacky. You do have to reapply tho but it doesn’t really bother me, it fades really nicely throughout the day (even when wearing a lipstick underneath it doesn’t leave marks). My mom swears by the blush+bronzer duo in the smart collection but I don’t know how good/bad it actually is.... and their little eyeshadow palettes that comes with a clear top is quite pigmented and really affordable! Hope that helped 😄 (I’d also recommend waiting for a sale because everything always gets a discount sooner or later)

So true about the Lid Star. I want a pigmented eyeshadow! I’m not into sheer shadows. But I agree what you say, that barely there look is Glossier’s forte. I do like their Haloscope Highlighter and Cloud Paint.
I honestly loved the look of your cheeks with just the cloud paint and glossier highlighter before you added the hourglass bronzer :)

Melissa Hughes bareMinerals is absolutely the best brand for sensitive skin that I have found. It was the first makeup I was ever allowed to use as a young teen and have used it ever since. Complexion Rescue is my holy grail product from them.

Crystal Gumm I just looked and I guess you couldn't really do a FULL face of only FAB. Their only makeup are skin tints and concealers (but I hear that concealer is amazing)

I like how the final look turned out. I actually do a "Glossier-style" face makeup look every day with BB cream and try to go light on blush/highlighter. However, I agree with Kathleen. I like a little more "oomf" for the eyes. Eyeshadow is too fun for me to be satisfied with that subtle tint of color. However, I have a friend who I think would love this whole concept.

I use RT brushes every day. I use their setting brush and highlighter brush absolutely all the time then their.... like smaller face brush? For blush and/or bronzer. I use their accent brush for my inner corner highlight. I use some of their bold metals brushes sometimes for my face. Overall Sam and Nic are just fantastic and I watch their videos religiously.
Full face of Estée Lauder would be amazing! I don’t hear as much about the brand nowadays from beauty youtubers, but I am obsessed with their products that I have actually tried. 💕
Real Techniques is awesome!!! Their sponges are so amazing and I love using the face brush to set my undereyes!

Thats hard. Most of the products are very unique. The foundation tint is very easy to find though. Even essence has one. Cant go cheaper

there really arent. ive tried tons of things at the drugstore and i cant find anything like glossier besides the essence make me brow brow mascara. you might be able to find a dupe for the power but their products are incredibly unique, probably on purpose.
Flower Beauty has blush bombs that are a decent dupe for the glossier liquid blushes
nyx lid lingerie is a really good dupe for the lidstars
I actually really love the way your brows came out after using the boy brow. Using it with the brow pencil was pretty too but on days where you really want to have that, “ I woke up like this” no makeup makeup look just the brow boy would be perfect.

I love Glossier! I have only gotten their skincare and boy brow but NOW I must get more. I love the nice, natural glowy look!
