As a champ player, I thought the gold match was also champ lol. Champ is the worst rank 100%. The amount of grey hairs I'm going to have as I continue to be hardstuck in that rank is unbelievable. Like you said, mechs of a GC and decision-making of a gold. I'm the opposite. I have game sense and maybe average mechs. So when I see stupid decision-making, I want to pull out my new grey hairs lol
I think that Polar.wav is actually a gold and Lemonghini is a champ, they just accidentally got mixed up in wrong matches lol

Without evening finishing the 4th game i can tell you that its gold. I bounce between plat and gold. Gold is wild bro. Idk how half the lobby is there. Some are too good for it and some havent reached that level but somehow theyre all thoughout gold.

If any of you guys realised, Silver players and SSL players have way different usernames.
SSL players have like Toxic, Turret.
Silvers have like, ilikepotatoes, Goodcucumber.

Champ is when people just start getting decent mechanically and I think the reason why champ is one of the worst ranks is because people get massive egos in champ and think they’re a god and don’t respect you as a player so they try to do everything themselves which in turn just throws the game and puts both of you in bad spots. I literally have better games with my plat 1 friend in champ 2 lobbies than I do with 70% of my solo queue champ 2 teammates
