Colgate University (colgate.edu) is a highly selective residential liberal arts institution distinguished by academic excellence, interdisciplinary inquiry, and increasing student digital IQ. Colgate is located on a beautiful 575 acre campus in upstate New York, and takes pride in the active engagement of its students and faculty in local, national, and global communities.
My biggest regret is flunking out at the end of my freshman year. I would have graduated in 1968. I'm 76 now and still think of my short time at Colgate. Kappa Delta Rho. Link Wray. Dancing in two inches of beer in the basement. Cazenovia. The tow rope on the ski slope overlooking the football field. Yep, my biggest regret is not being a Colgate graduate.
dang what did you do afterwards and why did you flunk out may I ask?
@@LKOO7 Gee LK, I've posted my reply twice and each time it doesn't appear. Maybe the Colgate UA-cam channel is restricted to graduates only? If so, that makes me kinda sad. I've held a warm spot in my heart for Colgate for 60 years despite my brief experience. Now I feel like a motherless child.

It's clear that Colgate University still holds a special place in your heart after all these years but it's also important to appreciate the path you took and the completely unique experiences and opportunities that came with it. It's impressive to hear about your successful career in finance, and I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying retirement and pursuing your passion for bonsai in Florida. Best wishes to you, Jim.
