@ER720 oh well i was only born in 92, but probably the most significant changes since you lived here are: no alcohol or smoking on beaches or parks, there are dispensaries everywhere, and the boardwalk south of pb drive has been expanded. i'm sure a lot of old businesses cease to exist and many new ones have taken there places along with houses and condos/apartments. the one thing that will never change is the perfect weather, or should i say lack of weather.

@ERICWAGNERSLUCID .. i use to live in pacific beach san diego when i was a kid (navy brat), and i remember a not being allow to go to the beach because of shark sightings

Lol and yea they always curse on the show but not like this, usually like when they slip, or something breaks, etc. I mean it sort of is a family show. If my daughter was older (she's 3) I'd let her watch it. Cody's funny in a goofy/cool/hippie way. Gotta love him.
@666freak999 Yeah I've heard the bleeps seems there more bleeps in season 2 than in season 1. My point is it isn't hard to eliminate that language from a family show. Don't get me wrong though I love Cody. I've been following Dave and Cody long before Dual Survivor but hearing him curse in this video just shocked me a bit guess I need the bleeps.
@slimnskinny After prolonged exposure on a small raft filled with air and nothing to look at but constant sea and having no sense of balance, yes he gets sea sick. But generally on a boat for a few hours fishing, he's fine :) Me personally, i'm really bad on boats, i have to be outside on a boat so the fresh air keeps me from feeling sick.

If you really want to learn survival skills there are many good knowledgeable survival videos on UA-cam. Cody gimmicks won't necessary suffice in a real life situation. If you want to be entertained then Cody is your man.
