I'll have to add these to Mindy list. Cook some bacon, broccoli, or shaved steak to go with your toppings (sour cream and cheese) for a delicious potato bar. You can cook the potatoes on a grill, air fryer, or crockpot and your not heating up your kitchen.

Big time 👍🏻 on the Lime Kugel (that’s what we call it in our house because we can’t remember the actual spelling) summer shandy. I tried creating my own summer shandy with a cheaper beer plus lemonade and it just wasn’t the same. Also I tried the dip plus second ingredient tip the other day to use up some cooked pasta. Made a great side dish. And, from one of your previous videos, used cottage cheese to make a creamy sauce for more leftover pasta. Very very tasty. I wouldn’t have believed it until I tried it.

I subbed 1.5c plain, whole milk yogurt from the giant tub at Costco plus about 3 tablespoons strawberry jam for the two yoplait yogurts. It's in the fridge now, but if the sample I got from the spoon is any indication, it's going to be delicious!

I hope you and your family have been faring okay with all the intense weather going on right now. My mom had some minor damage from storms last night in North Dallas.
I've been trying to find my version of your Italian sandwich, since it includes some meats that I don't eat, and I think I found it. I made a quick fix version of a torta with a loaf of French bread, refried beans mixed with some salsa, green onions, and jalapenos, prepared guacamole (or avocado), and shredded lettuce or coleslaw mix. That's the bare minimum vegan version, and then I've added mayo, cheese, tomato, and onion as I've had those things on hand. I figure we could even add some rotisserie chicken if we had it on hand. It's been a good option for us so far!

Mindy, I have to APOLOGIZE to you for asking you to Please try and make some meals that do not have dairy in them which include cream cheese, sour cream, etc.. Apparently I upset some of your viewers with the number of email responses I received. I TRULY hope that I did not upset you because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE watching your videos. Again I apologize. Joanne

I have found that subbing a dairy free cream cheese (kite hill is a good one) makes no difference in the taste. It just needs to be heated low and slow to avoid separation.

I'm sorry that happened. I get requests all the time for various diets and nutritional needs, so no worries there, I'm sure I wasn't offended. I just don't always make those kinds of videos because I'm showing what me and my family eat, and I think it's best when a person has dietary needs they follow the instructions of their healthcare provider or dietitian, as I am neither of those things. :)

You could always use a good quality coconut milk or half the amount of a coconut cream.

how do not have high blood pressure drinking that? I had high blood pressure and removed most sodium (1200mg or under a day) from my diet and now my blood pressure is normal without medication. That element stuff looks like a stroke in a bottle. I agree Oklahoma is hot and humid in the summer, lived in Oklahoma my whole life but water is the drink of choice for me since the doctor told me about salt and high blood pressure.

When do you add the shrimp?

After the rest of the ingredients have cooked 3-4 hours on high or 5-6 on low. If you watch that section again, you'll hear me explain when and how to add the shrimp.
