Electrically heated stuff is gold just to take the edge off while making coffee in the morning. We installed a mattress-hugging electric mat. Also, since we are deep into the Milwaukee M12 battery-powered tool line that lives in the rig, we got a couple of M12 electric jackets to cut the chill while getting things going in the morning. In lieu to a proper furnace/heater set up. You fire them up 5 minutes before getting out of bed... We got the ones with the heated pockets for that extra level of glamping-:) Enjoy your travels.
Electric mat sounds good too. We have heated jackets but we left them at home for this big loop. Figured we’d only need for a few days here and there as we’re mainly spending time up North. Cheers.
If you want a real game changer instal a diesel heater ...you will never regret it. We've had one in our Troopy for 8 years. Living in Melbourne we found we are never concerned about organising small trips around Victoria even in the dead of winter. It also gets very cold in the outback as you well know.
@@fritzintroopy We have the German Eberspacher but both units are excellent. The footprint is very small, about the size of a shoebox. We sacrificed a small cupboard just behind the passenger seat allowing us to draw fresh air from the cabin. We turn it on about half an hour before we retreat to the troopie in the evening and about half an hour before we get up in the morning. We've been in the snow and sitting inside with our tee shirts. Like I said we love it.
@@e210dall3 that does sound very nice. Will look into it when we’re back in Vic. No great need for it at the moment in Broome... we will probably wish we had one in about a month in Alice. Haha. Cheers.
We also highly recommend a diesel heater. We have an Eberspacher. There are chinese clones which some people say work well but we have the geniune article.
Welcome to WA 😜 Nice video guys.

It's a great car!
Absolutely made my day watching this! Loved the drone shots, sunsets and Princess Lizzie was the best! 👑👑👸
Thanks Nor. Glad you liked it. All a bit of fun

That does sound like an excellent idea... the warmth would be great. The question is where...? Do you have a webasto unit?

That’s two votes for the Eberspacher. Sounds great plus I love the name!!
