  • The Amrock is a Chicken breed, which got developed in America, and has the same ancestry lines of the barred Plymouth Rock. The main differences between the two breeds is mainly the productive abilities. It can be said that the Amrock is a utility form of the barred Plymouth Rock and is being raised mostly in Europe.
The Amrock is a large chicken with a barred plumage, a single comb, and red earlobes. It’s an auto-sexing chicken breed, meaning that males and females hatch in different colors. Male chicks will hatch lighter, with more white color on their heads. As birds age, Amrock hens will have wider black barring, and the roosters will have wider white barring.
Amrock hens are prolific layers of large brown eggs (approximately 240 eggs per year), but they rarely go broody. A bantam version is also available for this breed.

Yeah they both are similar ,and sometimes really hard to distinguish the Plymouth has a smaller comb than the amrock ,the barring seems cleaner than the amrock barring ,Plymouths are slightly lighter in weight but there both great breeds ,looking forward to see your flock wit newcomers on a video on your channel.
