There are 2 people, Ruby & Scrim. Scrim is completely sober and has been for 4 years now. Ruby has said he is off all hard drugs / he only smokes weed now
These guys were both into some serious hard drugs, Scrim (the one with the deeper raspier voice) was doing heroin at one point. They both abused opiates heavily and Scrim is completely sober now. Ruby only smokes weed last I checked. They make beautiful music, and really compliment each others style of rapping. Scrim is the producer for the duo, and they are independent artists. Some songs I listen to daily and find "bearable" for a non-listener to slip into their music with are listed below, in no particular order. All That Glitters Is Not Gold, But It's Still Damn Beautiful (My personal favorite, the beat / trumpet sample are just beautiful to me) The Number You Have Dialed Is Not in Service (This song is very personal to me) Either Hated or Ignored (I really like Ruby's verse in this song, it starts at 1:24) ... And to Those I Love, Thanks for Sticking Around (One of their most popular songs, if you listen you will see why, really beautiful all around) 2ND HAND (Shows their faces more than other videos I can think of right now, Scrim is the one with the blonde-tipped locks, and Ruby has the hat on with longer hair) On a completely unrelated note, thank you for what you do and the profession you chose to go into. I am 22 years old and just recently found peace in my life due to a lot of external help from my therapist and psychiatrist. I hope you enjoy this beautiful music.
So the part with his girlfriend and drugs is that his girlfriend at the time was super controlling and abusive and he was at his lowest with drugs and thats what basicly made him get sober
I know this is super old and you probably won’t reply but during $crims verse where he was talking about his girlfriend. Did he mean that he would cheat on her or leave her for someone else?
