Good choice. There are a lot of interesting things going on in these tunes in terms of waveform manipulation. Also, I never made it off the first stage so it’s good to finally hear what the rest of the game sounded like.
Poor Dunn. Such great tunes and the only ones people heard after loading were: First stage, tunnels, game over. A lot to learn in difficulty balancing, back then. 😄
The trick were to remember where the needed items in the tunnel are and then run quickly to them as possible. If i remember correctly there have been 3 or 4 spots where you could find them. The labyrinth itself never changed.

There were tons of Vietnam movies before "Platoon". Albeit Platoon being a well made movie Oliver Stone is a sad idiot. There are reasons why he is widely known as Putin boot-licker, and of course he's an anti-Semite.

I remember one time I got through the tunnels with no clue how. I died soon after as the next level confused the heck out of me

The composer is actually Jonathan Dunn, and Kodaka covered it for the NES port of this game.

Liked Jonathan Dunn's SID music. It was more clipped and introverted than Galway's. Had a nice clarity to it.
