Trinity University Press and Texas Public Radio present The Maverick Book Club; a panel discussion focused on Texas, Being: A State of Poems. How do poets write in and around one of America’s vastly sublime yet most audaciously independent corners? These diverse voices discuss writing poetry about beauty, hope, race, immigration, politics, and place in a state that is a lovely and painful contradiction of space and meaning.
