Love this series!!! So nice to see how real makeup looks on real unfiltered skin in real light. Tutorials a d first impressions and reviews are lovely, but it's hard to know what will look good on me in real life versus what looks good on camera.
Would love to see you do a real life makeup look for rushing out the door - how to look your best in real life in real light when you've overslept and have 12 minutes to get out the door.
Or also, real life makeup for when you need to look good from dawn to dusk, your ultimate long wearing but still natural looking face.
Or also real life makeup for when you're in a funk but still need to face the world. A lot of us are starting to go back to work or get back into routines and it's hard to get back into things!
And also, fingers crossed that you don't end up with any skin issues, but if you do, it would be awesome to see real life makeup for when your skin is acting up. A lot of us are wearing masks at work all day and it has effed up our skin. It would be great to see a real life base for troubled skin.

I appreciate the idea of this Real Life makeup series, but it would be nice if you could recommend more affordable alternatives to luxury items you’re using. For example, not everyone can manage the Natasha Denona palette, which is the primary product used for this glam look. Thank you and hope this makes sense. I appreciate you!!
Whenever I’m watching a tutorial of someone using a pallet I don’t have or don’t want to spend that amount of money on, I always take note of the way they describe the color and texture they’re using along with the placement. Then I go into my own collection and find shades I already have that are similar. After years of buying ad collecting makeup, I’ve never NOT been able to recreate a look. Even if something seems SO unique and like you need that EXACT one..you definitely don’t. Shadows end up looking very similar on the eye. I’m sure you can find these warm tans, browns, nudes, bronzes and golds in your collection to recreate this look, you definitely don’t need that pallet ❤️

You’re totally right on trying to figure out a dupe on the color - it was more so textures/formulas that are hard for me to pinpoint or determine myself, especially if I have no basis to work from. I hear so much about how the Natasha Denona palettes never fail in their formula but since I’ve never used it, I can’t tell what would be similar etc. 😅 that’s when I rely on the person to inform me on what could be similar. @@kiraboo_ I agree. So many make ND sound like something special. I have over 20 palettes and that's more than enough for me. I have been eyeing several ND palettes for a while now and may eventually splurge but that's 130 for 2 palettes. I paid $60 for a too faced palette and wish I would have known about ND then. From now on I am only buying what I really want because I don't want a massive collection, just quality shadows. Black Friday is the best time to go for it if you choose.

I only purchase makeup during sales. A tip is to go on the website of the brand you like and get email notifications too because it will tell you when the sales are.

Love this whole concept! I fell for IG/Photography heavy makeup in 2012 and took a turn a couple years ago to lighter makeup. Since then not going to lie... most makeup videos didn't interest me because they were geared mostly to that "IG makeup". I'm so here for this series! ❤️

Do you think the Nars TM would work for professional flash photography? I am standing up in a wedding and I always hear products with SPF are bad for that kind of situation 🤷🏻♀️.

I really like this series. I feel that how you tubers do their makeup snd teach is slot different then in real life only because makeup looks a lot different under all those lights vs natural light. I have learned a lot from watch influencers but I’ve always had to learn to twek it a little so it looks good in real life.
