great to see you do another Anno playthrough so soon. Since you have botanica activated, if you have rampant plagues in the city, have the very cheap Medicinal herbs set on your island (Peppermint+Foxglove+Dandelion): effect is "Unit movement for hospitals +15% and +2 doctors." - that's like having two extra hospitals!
38:10 One thing I love that replaces almost all the steel I'm using is to get the blue great people that gives you an extra steel unit every 3 bricks and concreet produced. Once I have him, I usually start trading my bricks for clay at the dockland which over time turns bricks into a more profitable resource to trade. It's also nice cause bricks are also a good product to trade en masse which will unlock more modules at the dockland. Trading it will in return assure you a constant production of steel. This reduces pollution. It's just an idea based on my experience. So far, I love your content and I hope you'll manage to get a good run with Hellsing :D
Yay new Anno series! Hopefully this one goes better than the first one you did! Or at least the series where you learnt harbour defenses exist for a reason (and also my first series!) :p.
Thanl you for teaching us how to play like a pro :) loving this new series already 😂🤣 that ending "An explosion in one of your ....." already? geeezz, and the challenge begins
Good to see another Anno series. I played through my own on my PlayStation 5 and things got crazy after awhile. They ganged up on me and attacked from every angle
love when you are watching the horizon and the hidden island. The city look beautiful ! happy to see this new let's play on Anno and a really hard challenge !
I'm binging on your videos. Got anno 1800 on the sale and I have been going crazy on how good the game is. On normal difficulty the game is VERY forgiving but I intend to increase the difficulty next time.
Hello Nivarias, thank you for the great content you provide. Always enjoyable to watch your Series. Do you have any idea of possible futures of the Anno-Series?
I couldn't stand this game. I wanted to like it so badly. The economy system is so annoying. You have to keep building more and more houses to even stay afloat
You have to manage your economy a lot and in the beginning it definitely feels like every new unlock puts you in the red and only stabalizes just as the next unlock comes in. However, when you get more familiar with the game you learn how to avoid that. Knowing that you don't have to build new stuff immediately and understanding which goods provide the most income gives you more control. For example, building materials don't directly give you more income so starting those up slowly is a good idea. Schnapps, beer, rum etc. are quite profitable. You can hover the needs to see the effects (increase in coins/population) and don't forget to check lifestyle and happiness needs. Use blueprints when placing production buildings and only build them when demand increases. Another tip that I like to do early is to overproduce soap and sell it to Eli The Prison Guy. It doesn't take much space to produce and is worth a lot in the early game. Lastly, as you get comfortable with the game you'll learn how to take advantage of items to increase production or even swap out input materials for production buildings.
@@zaedrah3378Well here's your not so thought-out answer.. it's literally just a copy paste game using efficient layouts easily found online. How is that confusing?! Lol

Aw yus love Anno 1800
Yippie!! New Anno!!
I couldn't stand this game. I wanted to like it so badly. The economy system is so annoying. You have to keep building more and more houses to even stay afloat
I've only played an earlier Anno game, but that seems to be the core loop. Constant growth! Or I may just suck at the game.
You have to manage your economy a lot and in the beginning it definitely feels like every new unlock puts you in the red and only stabalizes just as the next unlock comes in. @@Novacification well I appreciate an actual well-thought out reply. I might give it another chance sometime

@@TyCook-s1c I mean fair, but I didn't look up stuff online haha
Finally anno 1800
I missed the mod list. Anyone know how to find em?
As said it's just the Combat Overhaul and Harbour area expanded. Other than that some minor assets like Clocktower and ornaments.
Thanks pal. Much love! And thanks for the vids..... loooooove the longer vid too. Happy weekend
