I really do believe I misjudged this movie too quickly. Idk it looks pretty damn funny...idk this one might be something special.
I think everyone did, only because they titled it Jumanji.
If it was just welcome to the jungle, no one would probably even compare it to the old one. And if they did, you could say it was a tribute or inspired by the old one. Not a direct sequel.
I kind of think they mostly fucked up on the Marketing side, not the movie side probably.

Yup, that's Nick Jonas. Theory going around that he plays a character that found the board game, got trapped and has to help the others win(like Robin Williams in the first movie). Loved the reaction, especially you guys made me laugh with some moments(the simultaneous 'ooh' when Kevin Hart blew up was in perfect unison.

Why does it have to have anything to do with Jumanji at all then? Why can't it just be another fantastical adventurous comedy with these guys and gals in it? 3 lives? I don't think Robin Williams' character had 3 lives when he was trapped in Jumanji. He had a hell of a hard time trying to survive Jumanji but these four looks like they're having a great time in Jumanji - like it's a holiday destination.
