yes. The only things in general mechanic that was added is that a raw air throw will have a yellow effect and will let you combo after, and air counters will put your oponent in a longer stun animation, letting you make bigger combos after.

Another Arc Drives are accessible anytime in this game. Cannot access SDM until health is low in KOF '97.
@Keaton As someone who plays GG and tries to get into Melty, it is. Don't underestimate Melty's complexity. It makes you head spin compared to GG's straightforward mechanics.
The thing is, gg players get fast into GG, it's subjective, I know people who play tekken and say it's hard to get into street fighter, I know melty players who still can't get into GG, or like me, who can get into gg, kof and a lot of fighting games but I suck in street fighter, being one of the "easy ones"
Half Moon Style = Mix of KOF XIV's mechanics plus some original mechanics, but most are from Samurai Shodown and Real Bout Fatal Fury Special Similarities: 1. 5A6AA Auto Combo = Rush Combo 2. 100% Magic Circuit = H-Power 3. 200% Magic Circuit = S-Power 4. Auto Heat during MAX = Auto Rage Differences: 1. No Arc Drive on low health in this game. Can do S-Power on low health in RBFFS 2. No Another Arc Drive with MAX Heat and low health in this game. Can do P-Power in RBFFS 3. Auto Spark in this game, no Auto Rage in SS.
@Woodland312 This is similar to Guilty Gears blocking system if not a little easier. EX guard seems similar to Instant Block and also Faultless Defense. OP does EX block reduce blockstun as an Instant Block in GG would?

H-Moon: Emphasis on defense
F-Moon: Emphasis on power

Reduces a very small amount of blockstun (2F if I recall correctly)
I am not at all new to fighting games, especially air dashers, but very new to Melty Blood so which moon style would you folks recommend as a starter?
+NightPonyGaming C and H moons are fairly beginner friendly
I think it depends on the character, for example, F Aoko is more straightforward and simple compared to C Aoko afaik
Depends on the Character. Some Characters are Better with Full Moon Like Aoko. Others with C Moon Like Tohno and Nanaya.
Who else watching Bcuz of the hype of the new game
thanks
Great video, thank you
neat
Dang the YTber never did the specifics and advanced techniques
what's the name of the song that's playing?
It's the song of the stage in the game
It's called uncommon sense
Thanks for verifying.
I thought Street Fighters was hard but jesus crist Melty Blood is the AP of gaming
Janswhatsupdoc Street Fighter is among the simplest
Agreed; Street Fighter is all about what fighting games are at their core.
@meirus Fixed, thanks
