    I watched your video about sending out emails to labels. I then went and sent out my demo to 30 labels & got 1 that want s to release my track. Thank you for motivating me to send out those boring emails!!!

    Hey Jon Love your videos. They are clever, funny, and informative. You clearly care about not just content but high video quality!! I was wondering when you are done with your mix in logic what method do you use to export?

    Very good tips here Jon, I also find when mixing that I can hear what tracks are louder than each other when the volume is at a low level, and when making beats I will crank up the volume to get that vibe : )

    What would u recomend for Headphones ? I mix with Vmoda Crossfade and my Phillips Studio Headphones! I keep them pretty quiet, like 20% in the Windows setting and at -6 Db in my Daw, is that ok ?

    I'm want to build acoustic panels with mineral wool. Can you suggest what density of mineral wool I need to use? is more dense mean better absorbtion?

    • @Jonsine
      @Jonsine  7 років тому +1

      not necessarily to dens and it reflects again. I calculated everything with some online tools. maybe you can find some acoustic destiny calculator it will show you the best material and thickness. I had luck the cheapes wool had the best airflow density

    Phase issue.
    According to Span, my overal mix phase correlation is ok, but most of single tracks are out of phase (don't know why, even after switching off plug ins).
    Should I be worried ?

      just check your track in mono you will hear immediately all of your problems.
      I avoid having individual tracks in anti phase

    What happened to the focusrite 2i2? I see you're back to your old sound card

      got the old one fixed and send the focusrite back but it's amazing definitely better price value than the duet

    I find 80 db pretty loud. I always work between 60/70 db is this also ok?

    • @dennisbrinken5034

      Maurice really dumb question, no hate ofc.

    • @maurice970
      @maurice970 7 років тому +1

      Why? We perceive loud as good which isn't always the case (not talking about 80db). I was just wondering if mixing on a too low 60/70db level would effect my mixing decisions.

      its based on your ears. he might be fine at 80 but you could be different because you have different ears.
