TAS is an abbreviation of "tool assisted speedrun" which, in short, is a video made using an emulator, with the help of tools (savestates, slow down, lua scripts) that allow you to do things humanly impossible. All the videos you see here on my channel were made by me, using these tools I mentioned.
I have to ask, are you purposely doing all the crazy stuff in order to change the code, or is it just random? I have a little bit of knowledge about ACE but, 99% of the stuff you do in this I have never seen anything like it before! I imagine you're the type of person who could do some of the crazy code injection like you see at GDQ. There's one which springs to mind which I always thought should get a remake on SMW... it was on SMB3 and had mario doing some crazy stuff with custom loading screens and even Colour a Dinosaur. Perhaps create a spoof "Barbs dev mode" for GPW3 and make it look like the levels had dev exits / god mode and anything else which would make the levels really easy. Perhaps a spoof mod menu within the game and a super secret level that looks like cut content or is another game entirely like a spoof of headbangers: rhythm royale or Among Us using mario assets. Would be cool if it could be submitted to GDQ / Tas-bot
In this specific TAS, the biggest craziness comes from the hack itself. If you download this hack and play it on an emulator, you will see that it is pretty crazy. So 90% of the things I do in this TAS are to manipulate RNG and execute glitches. And yes, I know how to do ACE, I've done a few, but they are extremely complicated, I don't plan on doing it anytime soon 😅
