OLD SCHOOL FRIED PEACH 🍑 PIE ( FRIDAY NIGHT PIE SEGMENT) IN THE AIR FRYER

- This is my recipe for something i grew up on,its simple and so easy
Here the simple recipe
This is cooked in the air fryer
Recipe
6-8 peaches ( sliced)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
24 oz pineapple juice or nectar
6 oz butter
1 tablespoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 oz cornstarch ( slurry)
OR YOU CAN USE 1 JAR OF OLD SCHOOL PEACH PRESERVES
1 package Pillsbury pie dough
Combine all ingredients ( except cornstarch)in pot and bring to a boil
Add cornstarch and let thicken
Simmer for 5 minutes
Cool completely
Cut pie dough into 5 in circles
Add 2 tablespoons of peach mixture in center of circles
Brush dough edges with beaten eggs
Fold over corner to corner and seal with fork
brush with egg wash and place in air fryer for 10 minutes on 350 degrees
ENJOY!!!

God Bless You!! You just took me back my childhood on Granny's Ozark Farm, eating fried pies..She didn't have anything but wood heat that went up center of house, and wood oven in kitchen, and outdoor bathroom on the back porch, with wood heat in there too. Aside from tick checks, and cow patties to avoid that was a child's playground and adventure place.....

Good morning Chef Jeffrey, yum.my yum.my! 😁 You keep taking me back to the good old days. Mom and grandma use to make fried fig, peach and apple pies a lot. Plus, a family member use to bring us a shoebox full of fried pies. Back then there was plenty fresh fruit available so they canned different fruits as well. Gramma use to make BlackBerry dumplings. I really didn't like picking berries bcuz they really stained your feet, hands, and clothes. Thanks again for another quick and simple recipe. 🤗

I love peaches in desserts!! ain't going to lie I have mine pan fried for that old fashion taste that's what I love the most my grandmother would makes these using canned biscuits, I could never get mine like hers. These are fabulous ! I love this I love the way they came out looking so crispy and not greasy at all and the grandchildren can hold them in their hand and just pop them in their mouth and run around the house and not get the house all full of grease we have to give the kids a bath! Before they touch anything after you give them a dessert note to self. And now that I have all those preserves that I made that you taught me how to make this is a great dessert I don’t have an air fryer but I do have a convection oven so I’m thinking I could make these in there. I am buying a bushel of sweet Georgia peaches when they come to Michigan. Best ones I ever got were from Costa. Now my list is peach cobbler, peach pie and now hand fried pies. I will use my air Grier, but for unhealthy old times sake I will fry a few in lard. I can’t wait!!!!!

Hey old school I'm going to use that recipe and Fry me some apple pies cuz I believe I'm going to make my dough I'm going to try cauliflower flour.
