I am seeing this video and around the charging port, there is a blue ring. On 7:30 You said," I think the whole phone should be that color next time." There you go, they have vibrant blue Pixel 8 Pro.
You'd think by now they'd Jerry Rig test every new phone knowing it's gonna end up on this channel. Heck I'm surprised no manufacture has engraved a hello Zach on the inside yet.
The only problem with that is that Zach buys these phones outright. He doesn't get sent phones from companies. So it'd be very hard to pull off such a feat when you're playing "find the needle in the haystack" with a phone out in the world. Imagine opening up your new phone only to find that engraved on it hahaha
Flying directly into a fully-powerful Mordor would have been little better than a suicide mission, even if Frodo destroyed the Ring in the process. That was something that Gandalf simply would not have asked of him. When Gwaihir did fly into Mordor in The Return of the King, it was only after Frodo destroyed the Ring, Sauron's "Eye" collapsed and the Witch-king had been defeated.
Yeah but the eagles could have flown low to the deck to avoid mordor's radar detection, and mt dooms 40mm AA defensive guns were no match for the speed and maneuverability of a fully grown misty mountain eagle
4:15 looks and snaps like sintered metal. Essentially heat pressing metal powder and a binder in a form. Probably cheaper than casting and machining but definitely not strong.
You should buy the lot behind Dans house, he was saying that he didn’t want there to be a two story house behind him because of the view, but for you it is perfect, because for Cambry, one story is needed.
I actually had this thought. Since phones barely change each year in terms of specs, why don't phone manufacturer just use the same frame design for all their phones. That way parts from older phone or broken phones can be used to repair and prolong the life of the newer phone. If companies like Samsung and Apple are really advertising and using "Nature conservation" as their excuse for their actions, then they should actually be putting the effort to keep their devices off the landfill for as long as possible. Imagine the convenience if you got a phone, then after a year you got a new phone but the screen broke but you can just repair it by harvesting the screen from your older phone to repair your new phone. I think manufacturers changing the external and internal layout of their phone each year is not only an aesthethic choice but also an active effort to prevent people from recycling parts from older phones.
Something I haven't seen mentioned in any of these teardown videos... It looks like replacing the rear glass is a nightmare because the wireless charging coils are glued to the inside of the glass. So, the most common repair will require a full teardown.
Thank you again! I always put a case on my phone so the crack isn't bothering me. Too bad. Although I do hate to see it. I've always kept a case on my phone. Hoping that this one lasts for a few years. I personally feel like phone companies should stop making a new phone every year or I should say three or four new phones every year. They need to make a phone that lasts 5 or 6 years and stop trying to push everyone to upgrade to a new phone and make the ones that they do. Sell us more durable and have a better battery life
But that philosophy doesn't line up with the company's goal to make crazy profits. If everyone bought a phone and kept it 5 to 6 years, these people would be out of business, I'd guess. The end goal being, to sell you a product you likely don't need for exorbitant profits.
I agree, I personally think a new phone every other year would be a neat experiment. Part of this stems from feeling like many of the improvements are so incremental each year. Technically better phone, but are they really THAT much better than the previous year's phone? It'd be interesting to see how they could make the numbers work, because they could make it work if they wanted to.
3:52 I can totally understand using pot-metal for the midplate if it at least has compressive strength, but that thing snapped like a twig once removed. That's a weird engineering flex.
Definitely didn't expect the phone coming back to life after that teardown. Magic really does happen sometimes.
And it shows that he's in fact not sponsored by Google xD
it's because the magic smoke is still trapped inside

So many bad designs these days, so many phones bend in half. Quality controls are trash.
