When Lady M was waving from the top of Milner's Tower, it gave me vibes of John Cleese as the French soldier in Monty Python and the Holy Grail! 😂😂 Nice to see the Laxey Wheel (Lady Isabella Wheel) in operation. Did you notice the back to front triskelion? It was an apparent error when transferring the design on to it, and they used a reverse image. Bit of an eye opener on the Macacques 🐒🙈😂

Great Laxey Wheel (as Mackem said, also called Lady Isabella) is the largest working water wheel in the world standing at 76ft 6in (22.1m) It rotates approximately once every 20 seconds The Bengal Eagle Owl (Bubo Bengalensis)🦉 is also known as an Indian Eagle owl its closely related to the Eurasian Eagle Owl (Bubo Bubo) The noise it was making is a Deep resonant two toned mating call whereas the young make clicks and hisses. Emu’s can run at around 48km hour /29.8 Mph have been clocked at 50kmh/31mph in comparison (Usain Bolt 27.8 mph) They also swallow large pebbles to aid in digestion of food They also can jump 7ft high around 2.1metres Red Pandas were discovered more than 50 years before the Giant Panda and were known as the original Panda/first panda and have been called lesser panda, Firefox, Red Cat bear, Red Bear cat They are not related to the Giant panda They have 6 digits on there front paws 🐾 called pseudo thumbs. Although usually a quiet animal it makes a variety of sounds such as tweets, squeals, grunts and even quacks similar to a duck. Less said about Macaques other than Males reach sexual maturity at around 6 years old and females at 4 years old. A female will have a single baby every 1-2 years averaging 7 in a lifetime. Capybara the worlds largest rodent In South America particularly Venezuela 🇻🇪 Colombia 🇨🇴 & Brazil 🇧🇷 Capybara was an important source of protein and so hit wasn’t allowed to eat meat during lent they wrote to the Pope and described the animal stating it spent most of its time in water to which the pope declared it as a fish so it’s allowed to be eaten at lent. (Also Beaver 🦫 can also be eaten at lent too) Otters 🦦 13 known species Giant North American River Marine Southern River Neotropical Sea Spotted neck Eurasian Hairy nosed Japanese African Clawless Asian small claw Smooth coated The Sea Otter has the thickest fur of any animal with upto 1 million follicles per square inch Great stuff Bungle & Lady M 👍🏻
