I ended up putting my black atmospheric hose just under the pipe that comes from the garbage disposal. I hope it's not an issue I just couldn't fit it above
@@Tico_Mike Thanks for watching. In that case, we would recommend disconnecting the black hose once a month or so to ensure it’s clean and clear and not getting particle buildup inside it from garbage disposal. If clogged, water will begin leaking out of the air-gap on faucet. 😎👍🧰
Hi. Will the GE faucet fit through a one inch hole in my countertop? Is there a minimum size the hole needs to be for the faucet they provide to fit through it? The hole in my kitchen counter for the soap dispenser is only one inch in diameter. Thanks!
Thanks for watching, the instructions state to use a 35mm (1 3/8”) hole to be cut. We just purchased the GXRQ18NBN00. After installation, water leaks from the faucet under the cabinet. We can't tell which hose is leaking because the three tubes are close together. The air gap also leaks water but since our sink is recessed, the water runs into the sink. Any suggestions why it is leaking and what we might do to stop it. We have placed a large pan in the bottom of the cabinet to catch the sizable drips and can't place anything back in the cabinet. Would really like to get our kitchen back in order. Appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks for the video Michael. At 5:10, the bypass kit that you show; is this the same as the drain adapter that comes with the GE reverse osmosis system? They call it a drain adapter. Thank you for your help.
@@tomatojuice12 Good morning, the drain adapter is used for expulsion of dirty water. It is filtered out by filters and then sent to black drain line which feeds it down to adapter. At this point, the water flows into your main plumbing.
Thanks for watching & welcome to the DIY Raptor Club. You will want to drain tank prior to servicing. If serviced with water in tank, you will get sporadic & invalid psi readings. Please keep us posted on your project. Us DIY’ers need to stick together! 😎👍
So with this model there is no way to make the water flow much stronger? I just installed and I wanted to use this water for cooking but I don’t have that kind of time to wait with that weak flow. This is my second one in 6 weeks (other one had a weak trickle and had to return). Just frustrated because I need one with strong flow
Thanks for watching, did you bring tank psi up to between 5-7psi before turning water back on after install? You are not supposed to add air to the tank when it has water in it. Please keep us posted.
I just bought filter & all 3 cartridges to replace since the red light indicator came on. (After 6months of use) After changing filter & cartridges the red light is still on, can anyone show ne how to turn or reset the red blinking light? I thank you in advance.

Can you pls explain how to increase pressure at the faucet? I m getting very low pressure and trickle flow even after 24 hr purge. How do you increase to 10psi? thx
@@lon9540 so, turn off the water supply to your filters, then open the faucet let it run until it stops, pick up your tank should be empty/ very light.
