5 Quiet Songs by John Duarte

This set is from my colleague and frequent collaborator, Katie La Blue's Graduate Recital. We put together this set over the course of approximately one year, which culminated in this performance on November 12, 2020. Originally, we had only planned to do the first and third movements, and I was really enthused when Katie opted to perform it in it's entirety. It was a real pleasure putting this together as it's melancholic tone suited both of us.
We recorded this in the performance center at my workplace, United Conservatory of Music, for as virtual concert as COVID-19 restrictions made recitals in the Concert Hall impractical.
