Mid Hants Railway 'Watercress Line'' - Summer Diesel Gala 2024

Footage from Mid Hants Railway's annual summer diesel gala. This year, would see the line host its biggest one yet with five operational visiting locos. It would.also feature a first appearance of a Class 43 HST. In the form of 43468 and 43480 courtesy of rail adventure. A pair of hoovers, H&H owned 50008 'Thunderer' and 50021 'Rodney.' Also, 59104 from Freightliner. A rare appearance on a heritage railway. The loco would haul the railway's Mk1 set with D8188 acting as translator vehicle for braking force. Split from its sister loco, D8059 which also hauled trains throughout the day, solo. Providing some lovely type 1 noise. Lastly, 47579 is also captured working trains. Thanks for watching.

Cracking footage - have a quick question though. Where were you when you were trackside for the footage around the 9-10min mark? I'd like to try that location out myself sometime.
