Great wrap lovely to hear you talk about the books again . I am sure that I picked up the lost for words book so fancy trying the next one you mentioned it does sound interesting.
Please do! Its heartbreaking though so be gentle with yourself
such a great reading month!! always love the variety in your wrap ups 💖
Thank you 😊
Great vlog with some fab reviews. Think I a going to have to give Stephanie Butland a try x
Please do! She has a few books on her backlist I am keen to get my hands on!
Brilliant reviews, as always! ❤ Very excited to read The Shadow Cabinet. I will keep an eye out for the special edition of book 1!
Thank you! Hope that you enjoy it :)
Haven't read any of these. But love that you found a few you loved.
📖😃📚
I'm so glad! It was a really good month!
I haven't read any of those books, but great to hear you talking about them. The bookshop and patisserie ones sound good to me 😊 I agree about long chapters, they're a pain when you start nodding off 🤣
If you like HeidiSwain and Cress McLaughlin im sure you'd like the Julie Caplin books! And long chapters are the devil! I dont mind when I am reading in the day but my before bed book has to have short chapters :P
So glad to see you!! 😊
Thank you!! 😊
I think let's talk about love isn't my favourite one but was a solid three stars for me, but has ace rep. Another 3 stars with ace rep that I liked but didn't love is Tash Hearts Tolstoy. I have heard that loveless by alice oseman is both a great book and great rep -- I just need to read it myself still! Paris is lovely! Definitely worth a trip there. I really am looking forward to getting around to the dos and donuts of love at some point. I think it'll be a fun time for me. I seriously need to read my copy of ace of spades. Wonderful wrap up x
So far, I haven't enjoyed any of Alice Osemans novels, although I love heartstopper
💛💛💛
I gave the girls of summer 4 stars , I agree with you that it was a slow build but I did enjoy it. Reminded me a bit of my dark Vanessa. I’ve just finished the little cafe of second chances by J D Barrett and gave 4.5 stars. It was picked as a bookclub read and I would probably have not picked it up by it’s cover , it was such a great read with a bit of magical realism in it 📚
Ohh ive not heard of J.D.Barrett but that sounds like it could be right up my street!
@@booksandbargains I hadn’t heard of her either she’s an Australian author 🤩
