    So I'm confused as to how this system works, you're training for the national team but you're still getting coached by the OBUBC coach? Will you be racing with them when sprint racing time comes around or won't you because you already won the Lady's Plate?

    • @jamespostle6894

      Well I'm assuming he can train for the gb trials at obubc I think that's what he means.

    When do you guys start moving into eights? Or will you focus on smaller boats for the time being?

    • @henryswarbrick
      @henryswarbrick  7 років тому +5

      Focusing on the smaller boats in the meantime! Pairs are also good for improving efficiency in the eight

    • @mikobrown2953
      @mikobrown2953 6 років тому +4

      Nick Mascoli when you train like this every week your body gets used to it and doesn’t get so sore anymore

    • @Rocketram007
      @Rocketram007 5 років тому

      Nick Mascoli When you’re training at this level you do a huge amount of work around this; lots of stretching and core work helps to minimalise soreness.

    unless you are incredibly talented you need to train more/harder to get a seat in an international boat.
    18k / pieces
    weights (upper) / 30min r20 erg
    18-20k erg / 70min bike / some easy instructor work
    weights (lower) / 12k
    18-20k erg / 70min bike
    18k erg / weights (upper)
    18k / 12k with pieces
    total:
    60k rowing
    64-68k erg (+ergfit instructor)
    140min bike
    +3 times weights
