Roy Smeck was a multitalented smiling musician who made his audiences happy to listen to a real performer. Roy played a myriad of stringed instruments influencing the great players such as Django Reinhardt and Les Paul to name a few. Roy has gone to the great jam session in the sky but leaves a wonderful musical legacy for us to rediscover. This pioneer also ..
I definitely hear some Django in there.
Ohhhh, that explains it,😊😊
Talent on loan from his dad, 😊
I'm so glad this was in my recommended 😊
0:15 he smiles as if he's not about to shred the living shit out of that ukulele
J.K. Simmons: "Are you rushing or dragging?"
Smeck: "I don't know..."
"Now im going to ask you again were you rushing or were you dragging ?"
* throws the cymbal like a frisbee and nearly kills him *
"Not quite my tempo"
I had never heard of him, and now I'm glad I have. 😁 Awesome player!
WoW that was a lively little fella 👍
“It’s very nice indeed.”

Only 331erock has this much joy playing
He knows how good he is even if some don't.. Those that didn't don't matter now.. He is still getting applause today.
Probably cuz of the money he was gonna make when doing that.
Yup and I’ve always thought the exact same thing watching Eddie play
Just like Eddie did!!!
When you know you’re a total boss, and then your dad says, let me see that for a minute!
Excellent 👍 , thank you
so many people in the comments don't get the joke, we know it's actually his sister
It's not, though. This is Roy Smeck in the video. EVH doesn't hv a sister.
@@1StepForwardToday you are a lost cause

It was a joke Hardy boy.
@@1StepForwardToday you're really bad at jokes, my guy
Yep same 💩 as the original...
What a seamless transition between the banjo style claw hammer, and the flamanco rasgueado. Then he plays it like a double base. He is well learned in the art of the strings.
He's slaying with it!
I heard a little “Eruption” in there.
@o o says you
@o o You're the poster child for worthlessness.
@o o you the shit hole
I love how he looks at the audience and smiles.
I see where the VH talent comes from ! Alex looks just like Dad ❤️💟😍
Sounds like those old cartoons or commercials. I bet he was the music behind a lot. This is wow.
This is a real musician. Not only is he great, he's having a genuinely good time. Beautiful.
Nelson Montana Showman*
When you realise that this isn't Eddie's dad🥺
Why’d you have to say that ✋😔🤚
