I checked their direct funding model, I like the fact that the max drawdown is relative to the starting balance at 6 and 4 % and not trailing. It follows that the risk should be low in the beginning and then it can increase somewhat. The max risk is 2%.
Thanks Etienne for this informative interview. It appears that The5ers have well thought out programs in tune with what traders need for sustainable trading success. eg. realistic goals, low leverage, gradual scaling to build traders risk control "muscle memory".
Great interview, as always! I’m just in the backtesting process of my system but once I have optimised my strategy the 5ers are definitely my prop firm of choice. Really like the sound of the freestyle account.
The interview was good but when i look at the website i just felt dizzy , far too much text , poor colour scheme and overall I felt so confused . I think they would be more approachable when they remodel that website ..Until then i continue with others .

If in the future they decided to bump the leverage to 1:50, I'll try them out. since I use a US broker for FX and US FX broker use a 1:50 so I'm used to it. Not too high not too low.

In an inflationary environment, in which capital is no longer cheap, these funded trader programs are going to demand higher and higher levels of performance. And retail traders cannot produce extra performance on demand, otherwise they wouldn't have to bother with these funds. Do not see it as a path to long term success, because they won't exist for long.
I will use any prop firm if their Leverage is 1:500 or above…otherwise better i use my own money as a scalper….$300 to $100K can be achieve in 10 days as a scalper just by using 1:500 leverage. My friend did $200 to $30k in one week by using 1:2000 leverage broker. 😃😅 Everything is possible..u dont even need any money from Prop firm if u are good at scalping.
The 5ers is becoming outdated. Profit split is to small and they don't offer indices. There are other prop firms who offer unlimited time, indices and cripto, higher leverage, cheaper fees and way higher profit splits.

This obsession over leverage is nonesense. There is nothing wrong with high leverage. It's the traders responsibility to use the leverage offered appropriately. They key is to manage your percentage risk each trade. If I have a HIGH LEVERAGE, yet utilize a stoploss that would only result in 1% loss or less, what does it matter how high my leverage is? Retracting leverage only restrict skilled traders from making a good buck. Who cares about the reskless trader that use leverage incorrectly? They were destined for failure anyway.
I can see right through this guy, I know that those guys are on the otherside of the trade of the losers. I really believe that some of these firms are financed by brokers and institutions. Yes I can see it. He sure does studder alot. 🤣😂

no other prop firm provides access to 3.6 million usd. If we manage these accounts as assets, we are sueely gonna make good wealth out of these.
But why can't we trade Nas or sp500 with them?
