- Beta key: currently not available - online beta was closed until further notice due to people datamining the game files.
Since the beta testing of Isaac Online has quite a few bugs in its initial release, in this video I'm going to show you various methods that you can use in order to fix crashes and problems with joining matches.

The game kept crashing after the title sequence, so I followed your instructions and renamed the dlc 3 resources, now I got it working. Cheers!
I didn't have to delete my mods, so that's cool, but had to manually turn of every single mod separately to enter online

My game did something weird with my first save file, it gave all my tainted characters the delirium completion mark, but some of them in hard mode, other in normal. I'm glad I kept a backup
atleast you don’t have to do it with tainted jacob
I can play the daily challenge (so it means the game knows i dont have mods enabled) but can not play online because my ''mod state'' doesnt allow it. I do not have a mods folder, so i would have to delete my 100+ mods, which honestly is too much work to list and re-install after the beta. They know everyone on PC play with at least one mod, why would they make us DELETE them in the first place is beyond me lol The video is great and very clear, it's a shame the devs forgot to account something so basic

Hooh boy. I might just wait for the official full release of online multiplayer.
I tested it and had a lot of fun, but as 4 players at some point the performance just dies, the game start slowing down to the point it just freezes for 10 seconds (we werent doing a breaking run or crashing the game with crazy sinergys or anything)
Please report anything to the devs to make them improve performance :)

Could you make a video on how to Host a lobby? Not just for friends, but for quick match. All the ones I join the host doesn't start it so I would like to host it myself
I really hope they do something to prevent people just sitting in lobbies, hopefully there will be a lot more lobbies so it’s less common when it actually releases, but right now it sucks
As someone who doesn't know HOW report a bug, here is what i experience:
If you enter a flooded room, like in downpour or flooded caves, the game disconect to some users.

Do you need the DLC to download the beta? I entered the code and the name changed to include [online-beta] but it didn't start downloading. What else should I do?

I returned to the normal version and my dead god save file is corrupted how do I fix it I have no chekmarks no items no eden but everything else I have ? I made backup but still isn't fixed
The backups did not work for me and I lost the progress I had, something curious is that I only had files 1 and 3, for some reason I did not have type 2 xd
the game is not letting me to update it

Well I tested it and when I decided to going back without the beta, all progress are deleted of my save files except for achievement, I dunno why it did this and I even got a backup in case, but I couldn't have back all my stats, so I warn you if you do same thing (or just I can't make proper backup saves)

I didn’t follow the instruction to back up my game, when I tried to boot it up my saves were GONE, thank god for auto saving though because I have em all backed up now
The game crashes if I try to go into the savefile, not at the intro. Is there a solution of this case?
Coop is cool but honestly it has trash preformance rn, the game constantly freezes or slows down during beast fight it was like 1/5 of the normal speed for some reason
hey why is the beta not showing up on my beta participation menu i had put the code (the new one)and it doesnt show up all i did was switch to the normal version and now i cant access the online version anymore
Hi. The beta is no longer open. A new beta key should be released next month with a new version.
I was playing the beta but then I switched to the normal version and my save data was deleted, I made a backup but it still didn't return what I had. 😔
But I have all the characters, they just don't have the marks or items.

i had the same problem but i fixed it. i had to replace the save files in Steam > userdata > (user id) > 250900 > remote with my backup files

Head on over to the DLC tab on Steam and make sure Repentance is checked.

It's of course going to get better as time goes on - things like this are expected with early beta versions.
What do I need to do if I don't have resources-dlc3 folder? I own the game with all DLCs
That's fine - you will only have it if you have previously extracted the game files. If you didn't then you can skip that step.

Hi. Since it's just a DLC, addition to the old one, progress will not be lost.

I cant play online because it always tells me i have to disable all the mods and restart the game WHICH I DID i even restarted my pc and reinstalled the game idk what to do at all
Did you rename the mods folder? That did it for me.
i did them wrong backup of the save(persistentgamedata 1-2-3 only), and i thing i lost my save :(

Not having the folder is not an issue - you will only have it if you have previously extracted the game files. You can skip that step.
i guess that wasnt my issue anyway, i think the game wasn't getting enough of my 32 gb of ram somehow

i tested it and i lost ALL my 590 achivemets and like 200 eden's tokents i was really close to get death certificate, someone knows how to fix this please :(?
At the stats screen, pressing Alt + F2 will sync unlocks with Steam achievements.
