Thanks for sharing...I'll be there next week for my second time. It's a beautiful city. Just have to use common sense beware of your surroundings. Enjoy the nature, food, and culture.

Thanks! Good to see more positive content. I’m moving to Medellin end of August and keep getting people telling me to be careful and seeing so many YT videos about safety. I was in Colombia last year for 2 weeks (Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena) never felt unsafe or in danger

It is not a war zone if you do common sense you will be fine i met a lot of nomads and people who have properties and the doing just fine but what causes all that i have to say something due to bad luck but most of the cases are just being dump and looking for drugs and cheap prostitution and when things go wrong they blame the whole country and that's messed up i live in vegas and all my life nothing happened to me and i heard stories of people lose their life because of bad decisions they made. I hope you enjoy your time in the beautiful colombia

Lets not victim blame either, Colombia has deep rooted issues that people don't want to address. People shouldn't be afraid to go out to a Club once in a while without the fear of getting drugged and robbed. If you have to constantly keep your head on a swivel, thats an issue with the Country not the person
