Colombia is a developing country, not a third world country. Common sense is to keep your backpack in your lap. I just came back from MDE. I'm a young, solo female traveler. I traveled throughout Colombia with my backpack in front of me and I kept all of my valuables hidden in my hotel room (under my bed, closet, mattress) and didn't let anybody enter my hotel room. The locals looked at me like I was crazy but I'm not new to this. I have street smart.

There is no such thing as a good area in Medellin or Colombia. When they tell you in a good area don’t associate it to USA. It just means the probability is lower to get robbed but is still higher then a USA equivalent to a good area . Safe travel

My question is: Does the Toyota Corolla with a manual transmission have a sportier performance vs the CVT transmissions in the Corollas...?? I want to buy a Toyota Corolla with a manual Transmission, but Toyota stopped making the Corollas available with a manual. So, I need to find a used 2020 to 2023 Corolla with a 6-speed Transmission. My very first car was a 1982 Toyota SR5 PU with a manual transmission. Here on UA-cam and with Google searches, people say that the Corolla manual transmission has better performance vs the CVT.... What's you advice and experiences with your Corolla..?? When you drove a Corolla with the CVT which one felt like it had more power.?? Which one has better performance, and feels more spirited when you drive it...? I drive all over California and I also drive up to the mountains to go snow skiing. I feel that a CVT transmission will not be as strong in the mountains. What do you think..??
