It's because of fans 😂 literally everyone who watched this show was devastated by the end, it was unfair to Michael, guy saves everyone and does not get his happy ending 😒 that scene triggered fans there was even fake 5th season trailer where Michael is alive and gets his happy ending, this fake trailer was made by a fan and seen by milions of people i know this because i was one of themi vividly desperately was looking for a 5th season after i saw Michael's death scene 😂 i remember how disappointed i was when i realized that fan made trailer was not real 😂 after 6 years from the 4th season this 5th season was a gift from the Prison Break makers, they literally took years to give Michael his happy ending and we are grateful for the 5th season and its ending 👌
