@@gokulsampath9345 That's my point, it has been an insane downgrade. If the "middle ages" lasted for 1000 years in relative peace, it meant that it worked, as a system, contrary to the dysfunctional mess what we have now which shouldn't be expected to last another 50 years or so.
If every body earned and was paid a living wage, it would be the most infationary thing until we produced enough goods for every one to live with thing every TV show makes them expect.
you may want to have another look at food waste and the whole business surrounding the purchase of amazon returns. the problems lie in distribution. There are people who make the conscious decision that throwing something away is cheaper than giving something away.
The problem with counting tax breaks as government handouts is that it’s ridiculous on its face. Yes, it takes away from funding of the government, but the money always belong to those people and never to the government. Wouldn’t the answer being shrinking the size of government? I’m not coming from a libertarian or conservative perspective either at this point as I have come to reject those views of the world as well as the communist and socialist who all have the same thing in common, they all want to ride on someone’s back as you would have it. Why not just divide up the land, and let the people dividing it. Get the last dibs and let people be productive and poor, according to their own means and abilities? I believe in both positive and negative and externalities in the economy. I think it’s clear that that is happening. Any kind of involvement by the government is going to be in favor of some parties over others you need enough government to keep the bandits away and no more.
Now it is also self evident to me, anyhow, that the combination of printing Fiat money which has no limit on its a numeration on the one hand which guarantees money will flow to the rich, because even if equally distributed to everyone which it is not, it will find its way to the rich through their businesses or rent. On the other hand, if you do not tax the wealthy, there’s no way for the government to get the money back. That’s it all accumulates in the hands of the rich. This is the conundrum we have right now. if you were to just get rid of money, it would no longer accumulate in the hands of the rich.
Covid allowed us to be economically secure but it was not economically stable. Inflation increased due to printing money and your seeing that were are paying with inflation. But i do like what you are saying but these changes must be slow and continuous.
Our government gave out the most money of any country in the world, and our inflation was less severe than a lot of other places ... it doesn't really seem like the stimulus was the primary cause of the inflation (and even if it was, a year or two of relatively high inflation is *so much better* than the effects of not doing a lot of stimulus, as evidenced by Europe's economic state since the 2008 recession).
Tax breaks do not constitute a handout from the government. Nothing is received by someone receiving a tax break other than a portion of what was originally taken from them.
Imagine thinking people were living "just fine" in the middle ages

To end poverty in the world, all poor people should be rich.
citizen pay
The best solution is paying people livable wages, instead of paying public traders a workers income. Think about it.

inflation has two sides one is more money . The other is it chasing the same amount of goods.
