The actor welcomed a daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, and a son, Jack Depp, with his former partner Vanessa Paradis before the pair split in 2012.
"I could sit there all day and do nothing but watch them grow," Depp told Britain's Psychologies magazine of his children in December 2008. "I'm totally inspired by them."
Though Lily-Rose is often in the spotlight now thanks to her career, Paradis and the Pirates of the Caribbean star took pains to keep their kids away from the spotlight while they were growing up, opting to raise their family in France instead of Hollywood.

Johnny is a good father, since having his two children, anybody can see "Actions speak louder than words," in both his children, Lily-Rose and Jack. Johnny is quiet, calm with eyes that sparkle brightly, there is no darkness in his eyes. There is truth in the quote, "The eyes are the windows to the soul," and in recalling Johnny's lifetime as an actor, the media could only publish stories about Johnny drinking and smoking weed, maybe a pill or two, more than likely during the rigorous schedules of filming movies. Many of us as movie enthusiasts don't know the long days and nights which go into making & acting in a movie. Johnny's ex-wife, was given anything and everything she wanted from Johnny. Question, were her intentions structured deliberately to gain recognition and fame for herself, through Johnny's earned respect of his character and personality which has given him a good reputation, a little too much partying is all that was brought to my attention about Johnny, yet, never once heard anything detrimental about Johnny until his ex-wife tried to damage, and destroy his reputation and character, most importantly it is impossible to keep a "good person down, with lies, deception and deceitful intentions." Johnny is handsome, good looking and can have a date with a different lady everyday of the year, and he chose his ex-wife to accompany everywhere and to be on his arm in the best designer clothes. In taking the vow of marriage it is a lifelong commitment, and working out differences in communicating truthfully, isn't this correct for all devoted and dedicated couples? Maybe someday Johnny will find his match and they will live in "a shoe," somewhere in the woods, where there will be no interference from anyone for they will be inseparable, "true love." Who knows,?
