Good review, thank you. I've been considering getting this unit. Is it possible to turn the audio/beeps off for the blind spot detection and only use the light (visual) indicators? Even though you don't use a camera for backing up, I wish you would have shown that feature. Totally agree where you mount the screen/monitor being a big positive. When you're not towing, did you leave the monitor attached and if so how would you rate the reflectivity when it's just a rearview mirror?

Gad you liked the video, and great questions. You can turn off the audio beeps and just have the visual cues.
I have left the monitor in place when not towing. It's OK, at best, but the reflection is a little dark. It's ok during the day... definitely wouldn't use it after dark. I decided to take it down when not towing.
